Having bought the original LP, when it was new: Jethro Tull has always be one of the top groups you could rely on. "Dharma For One" used to be a favorite as are any songs that Ian Anderson shines. "Stand-up" also comes to mind as a classic as well as the overplayed "Aqualung".The stereo version of "This Was" is excellent. I enjoy the way that this sounds. The mono sounds great, and I really like the addition of stereo. Also, the album itself is good, if you like english fold/blues rock. Definitely different from Benefit or Aqualung, but still good.Free Music Review: An absolute must

If you are a fan of Jethro Tull, this is a great set to have.
The songs have been finetuned, and stands as if they were newly written.
For a Vinyl freak like me, this certainly is a great alternative.

this is everything it should have been.. It breaks my heart that Jethro Tull didn't put more effort into their blues roots after this album.
