My only exposure to Jim Brickman prior to this CD had been "The Gift", which I think is fantastic. I bought "Love Songs & Lullabies" as I anticipated the birth of our long-awaited first child, and it did not disappoint. Although I particularly enjoy the instrumentals, the song "Beautiful" spoke to me in a special way as I nursed my daughter and thought about what she meant to me. I still cry every time I hear it. I have many "lullabies" CDs, but this one far surpasses all.Free Music Review: A peaceful album, great for soothing a baby to sleep

We purchased this for our infant to have music as she fell asleep, and two years later, this CD is still the only bedtime music she wants to hear.I'm not a big fan of his songs that contain lyrics -- there's no need for them when the piano playing is so excellent -- but it does provide some variety for those who do not wish to hear only instrumentals.

I don't know what to say. He is amazing, his music is amazing and every cd is amazing. There is nothing bad to say about any of his music.I am totally in love with his style, grace and workmanship.
This cd, like the rest of his, is grand.
If you love the piano, soft music, falling in love and Jim Brickman; then go out and grab this cd. It is worth the money.

I'm a great fan of Jim Brickman and I've nearly all his albums. This is one of his best work. I don't know how Jim Brickman does it but every song he writes is beautiful & gives you wonderful happy thoughts. Looking forward to his next album.
