I live in Fl and on our Public Station tonight in fact, was a concert named My Romance, an Evening with Jim Brickman. I love Jim Brickman and have all his CD's. It had to be one of the best concerts of his that I have seen. He had several different people on there with him, including Donny Osmond, Anne Cockran and Olivia Newton-John. You can image how shocked I was when I went online to check my email after the concert and found a notice that this new CD was out. If you love romance I would highly recommend purchasing this CD and all of Jim Brickman's CD's. They are great and he is the king of romance, actually he is romance....I love him.Free Music Review: "Jim Brickman is Romance"

This TV special on PBS was my first taste of Jim Brickman. I have bought a few of his other cds since. The main reason why I call this the best of Brickman is because of the guest stars. Olivia Newton-John sings the most beautiful rendition of Brickman's "Valentine". Donny Osmond's vocal on "Love of My Life" is so romantic and breath taking. Brickman does write some especially romantic songs. This probably will sound odd, but when explaining who he is to others I say "he is the Barry Manilow of the late 90's and the 00's." Okay maybe not so prolific and vocal but his style does remind me of Barry Manilow.Free Music Review: MOVE OVER YANNI!

Smooth flowing fluid tones of a piano; warm innovative vocals. Jim Brickman's artistry is refreshing. Wait until you hear "Change of Heart" with Olivia Newton John. His music embraces, soothes and caresses the listener. Catch his concerts if you can, seeing is believing; but in the meantime experience the man and his music with "My Romance, an Evening with Jim Brickman". Just call him, "Lord of the Piano". Not since Lee Liberace has there been a pianist/singer/performer with this quality. Yes, I like this cd.Free Music Review: WONDERFUL CD

I was privileged to be introduced to Jim Brickman at a concert in Philadelphia in December 2000. This album is basically a recording of that concert. Donny Osmond's rendition of "Love of My Life" simply blew me away. So much so that I had it played as my first dance with my new husband at our wedding in October. This is a wonderful collection of music which certainly provides excellent "dinner" music or just laying in front of the fireplace listening. I keep a copy at my office and play it to keep my stress level down.
