Free Music Review: The Original, The One That I Want!

I saw the original production of Grease and it was hysterical. It was originally intended as an affectionate parody of the 50's and was a laugh riot. Then Hollywood got a hold of it and turned it into the cotton candy, pop fluff that the world see's it as now, totally missing the point (and losing alot of the fun). The original cast led by Barry Bostwick, Adrienne Barbaue and Carol Demas, were a blast! Stick to this version if you like real parody, humorous and true to the 50's rock style.

GREASE what a classic. I'm listening to it right now! I recently saw the play and they did the song you're the one that i want instead of all chocked up witch replaces that and in the movie they use that song and so on but the only reason im not mentioning Sandy or Hoplessly Devoted is because those aren't n aturally ever in the play it was made for the movie. I was given this album as a gift about 5 years ago, and I still play it along with my current selections. Barry Bostwick of Spin City, is hysterical as Danny Zuko! The cast sucks you right back into the fifties!!! The different versions of "There are worse things" and "Prom Night" are great! If you are collector of Grease memoribillia this is a piece for your collection you have to have!!!!Free Music Review: Oh the memories...

I love this CD simply because this year my high school put on "Grease!" and we packed the falling-apart auditorium every night. People came to see it multiple times and although this CD will never replace our Kenckie and Rizzo, it's great for those that have done the show and had a great time with it too!Free Music Review: GREASE!!!

I love Grease altogether and when I had a song stuck in my head one day, We Go Together got it out quick enough. I have performed in Grease Lightnin' and We Go Together. Those are my 2 favorites. It is a great CD and you can pretty much get an idea of the whole show just by listening to the CD.
