I was thrilled that Jimmy found a new way to express the lifestyle that he conveys in his songs. It seems to be a fresh extension of the music and the perspective that all of us love and feel so close to.(sorry for the dangling preposition!) Many of these songs bring me back to his old albums, especially CHANGES IN LATITUDES. Lots of good Fingers Taylor riffs in this album.
Bon Apetit, y'all.....this is his best since Fruitcakes.

I own many of Buffett's CD's. I bought this CD and listened to it. On the first listen it is really bad. Then I read his book, A Pirate Looks at Fifty and I found that the CD is based on the book by Herman Wouk. I bought the book and then listened to the CD. I can't stop laughing and reliving the book. If you read the book, buy the CD. If you want great Buffett buy "Changes in Lattitude * * *" the Gold Version.Free Music Review: Jimmy makes another great CD!!!

This was a great CD. Calloo made you want to move. I just loved Kinja Rules, but I don't know why. The intro made you want to know the characters in person. Shampane Si Agua no had a great beat. And all the other songs were cool too. I wanted to listen to this CD over and over again after hearing it I recomend this CD to anny parrott head or not parrott head.Free Music Review: Jimmy comes back to the islands, ...Again!

This album proves that Jimmy is the major musical talent we his fans have always believed him to be. Being Jimmy's premier fan on the tropical island of Curacao, I am always amazed he keeps getting so much better and better. "Carnival" is another highpoint in the career of the wandering minstrel. I am a huge Jimmy Buffet fan but was unsure of what to expect from this CD. I loved it! Buffet combines his knack for telling a great story with his legendary "island" brand of music. The vocals are excellent and the music is even better. If you love listening to Jimmy and reading his books, this CD combines the best of both!
