I love every song on this CD. It is incredible! A great mix of cultures goes into this music. Not many artists can pull that off, but Buffett does. If you like the "old" Buffett, you'll love this stuff. If you like the "new" Buffett, you'll love this stuff. If you never liked Buffett, you'll still love this stuff. This is a "brand new Jimmy" that has really evolved since the Fruitcakes album... if this is the direction Buffett is going, he will just keep getting better and better with each new album.Let's face it... the man RULES!

If there is one person in this world who can take u to a place that we all dream about without having to actually fly there, its Jimmy. If there is one person in this world who can magically lift u out of a depression from a girl that left you, its Jimmy. There is an uncanny nature to his music that some how touches all who listen. I can only tell you that Jimmy Buffet has helped me through many triumphs in my life, let his never quite in tune sound and tropical beats wisk you away to a better time and a far of place.Free Music Review: Different kind of rythmn, same sort of fun

For any true parrothead, this album is going to satisfy your craving for a studio album. From the upbeat and rythmic 'Blue Guitar' and 'Far Side of the world', to the slow an melodic 'Savannah Fare You Well' all the songs on this album create a montage of music that all parrotheads will enjoy. Although different from some of his other albums, Jimmy has continued his long-standing tradition of playing music that tells stories, and by listening, we are taken to 'some place warm'! 2 Phins Up!Free Music Review: One of JB's best ever

I've been a tried and true parrothead for as long as I can remember. Although I very rarely dislike any of Jimmy's work this album is definately one of the best. Savannah Fare You Well (track #4) is in my top 5 favorite JB songs. The album is great and has a permanent place in my cd deck. Anyone looking for traditional Buffett will probably disapointed but if you know Jimmy and appreciate his many talents as a storyteller and musician you will love this one.Free Music Review: They just keep getting better.

The old songs like Fins, Margaritaville, Let's Get Drunk, Cheeseburger, etc. that made the parking lot the place to be before the concert will always be there to draw the new fans in. And Jimmy will be in his glory onstage singing them.But there is the other Jimmy Buffett; the man of the love song, the poignant story, the beautiful poem. And "Far Side of the World" might just be that Jimmy at his best. The acoustical guitar work is great on this album.
