Free Music Review: Jimmy does it again

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band spend their time in the US promulgating the fantasy of spending time on a beach with cool, green water, soft breezes, and of course that wonderful music. Here, the fantasy is turned on its head, with Jimmy and the band parforming on the beautiful beaches of Anguilla. He's in fine voice, and it's a wonderful song list. The CD is mixed a little better than the DVD, but both are worth it all the way. Free Music Review: Jimmy at his finest...

I was unable to attend this "mini concert" but heard amazing reviews from Anguilla. Jimmy really is at his best when he is just chillin' with a small crowd. Years ago I saw him at Gusty's on Harbour Island, no more than 150 people total. This album captures that type of intimate setting. ENJOY!Free Music Review: Island music

WOW! Jimmy blows them away on Anguilla.
In his 'natural' environment...on a beach, maybe three or four thousand people, sunshine and lots of beer.
Super Concert,and the CD's tie right in to the DVD...one of the best concert videos EVER...shot on HD cameras!
I think he should have done MORE new stuff, and less of the moldy oldies from the 70's...but he has a formula that works.
Saw him three years ago in Key West, simply saying..."Time for some NEW greatest hits"... and he comes out with "Take The Weather With You" which has some very nice new stuff, fresh and yet familiar.
But this is his best work, ever. Wish he would do more small shows, or I could be in the islands when he plays again

This was a gift for my son-in-law, who is a "HUGE" Jimmy Buffett fan. I am not too familiar with this singer other than what I have heard when I go to their house. I priced this cd at several retail and online stores and found Amazon to be the most reasonably - priced. I have purchased several items from Amazon and have been very pleased in the past with their online services. Not to be disappointed this time, again, the cd, "Jimmy Buffet Live in Anguilla" was shipped and within two days, I had received it. Again, it had been packed with the same care that other items had been shipped.Free Music Review: Wish I had been there!

Wow, what a treat! A CD and DVD. In addition to covering the concert, the DVD provides pre-concert footage of setup and a jam session on the beach with Jimmy and the band. Wish I could have been there! Music includes lots of the old favorites, a few with a new twist. Should delight any parrothead!
