If you are at all curious about Jimmy Buffett's music, or even if you are a long-time fan who wants a nice collection to represent some of Jimmy Buffett's best stuff, THIS IS THE ALBUM TO GET! There is one word to describe Jimmy Buffett's sound..."Fun." This album is exactly that. It is great for parties or when you just want to relax. It is total "beach music" and it always makes me want to escape to a nice sandy beach or go for a swim in the ocean. Being an old 'hippie' from the early 70's, Jimmy's Come Monday brings back memories of high school and beach trips. Take a ride, enjoy a 'burger' with lettuce and tomato, and if nothing else, change your latitude, not your attitude, it's alot more fun. This c/d gives us hope that, yes, come Monday, it'll be alright. You'll sing along to songs you didn't even know you knew the words to. And maybe some that you didn't know were by Jimmy. I think that this song, margaritaville, is a great song. I am 21 and my friend Shane would have parties at his house. We would sit around drinking and sing songs, but the best was when his roommate John would get out his guitar, and start playing the beginning of this song. Everyone in the room knowing the words or not would just sit there and take it all in. That always made the night fun. Think about it the next time your are have a good time, the song just makes the night that much better.Free Music Review: Summer Fun!!!

Whenever summer rolls around I listen to this album, or just whenever I am in that laidback island mood! These songs have great music to them and wonderful tropical imagery in the lyrics. A must for any would-be Parrothead. I have been such a Parrothead for years(went to Margaritaville Cafe in Key West...) I agree, if you take your music too seriously, this is not the album for you. I mean, take a chill pill! Just go with the flow and let these songs take you away, to a wonderful place.

Some People, I swear! I should have learned my lesson by now, I should stop reading other people's stupid criticisms on my favorite artists. I ADORE this CD, it always fits at least one of the many moods I'm in. [Although He Went to Paris is a bit slow, it's a great song to fall asleep to.] I have a wide variety of tastes, everything from Duke Ellington to Bjork to B.B. King to Eiffel 65 to Rammstein to Orgy to The Beatles. Yet, I always seem to come back to Buffet. An excellent choice!
