Free Music Notes for Songs You Know by Heart : Jimmy Buffett's Greatest Hit(s)Free Music Review: Jimmy, a man for all seasons and times Hit: 5 Stars
There is no doubt that Jimmy Buffett is quite probably one of the most critically picked on artists ever, and you know what it doesn't matter! Jimmy's music has always been about fun for the fans, and this album delivers that. A wonderful collection of Jimmy's best work, this CD transformed my metal head sister into a parrot head. His music can be played at any time and can always be guarenteed to bring on a smile, and a huge sing a long.
Free Music Review: Love It...But I Have A Complaint Hit: 5 Stars
Bar none, this is a FINE offering from Mr. Buffett. My problem is, this is the ONLY album most people who claim to be fans of Jimmy Buffett even own. That in itself is a true shame. Buffett has had much better albums/compilations of his work, but SONGS was still the first to put them all together in a non-live package. One can't argue with the quality since these are all Buffett classics that stand the test of time. Pure summer fun.
Free Music Review: Gateway Drug Hit: 5 Stars
I am a Parrot Head.
I love Jimmy's music in everyway, and not just the popular stuff. While alot of my PH friends (and I see the point) would bash this album, I love it. If you actually sit and listen this album, you'll love it. Period. For me this was a Gateway Drug, I bought this album and away I went. This is a great album to just put in at anytime, and it will make your mood better.
Free Music Review: A Great CD to get acclimated to Buffett-dom ... Hit: 5 Stars
If you've never listened to Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band and would like to ... then this is the CD you want. All of his Favorites and the songs he's best known for are here. Definitely a must have to play while you're Pre-Partying before one of his concerts. Buffett-dom (or being a ParrotHead) is more than just listening to music ... it's a way of life ! Enjoy ... :o)
Free Music Review: Every Song a Classic Hit: 5 Stars
One need not be a "parrot head" to enjoy this CD. The range of styles on this album ranges from the up-tempo just-for-fun songs such as "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" and "Volcano" to the bitter sweet ballad of "He went to Paris."The only drawback of this CD is that it does not include my all-time favorite Buffett song, "Chanson Pour Les Petits Enfants" But this is a keeper.
