They are back,...subtle and power,the Zeppelin magicians are here,once again and I think they are going to stay with us,quite a long time more Walking into Clarksdale,it's a delicious album with a delicate piece like "shining in the light" (mind landscapes music),that oriental mix in "most high",the bluesy-voice of Plant in "when the world was young",and an incredible guitar solo from page ,surely ,a "no risk buy",rock at his best. Last year Page and Plant played an outstanding show at the Gorge in Eastern Washington. With the release of this album, most Page Plant fans will be anxiously awaiting watching the sun drop down behind the band while on stage. Walking into Clarksdale is an album which grows with each and every listen: Pages layering is subtle in the beginning, but the riffs are there! plant still has the skills of a wordsmith, and with a somewhat mellower voice, invokes many emotions. Walking Into Clarksdale is my favorite ALBUM of all time. It flows together beautifully and is charged with emotion, which is an emotion more mature than that of the Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. I would venture to say that Page and Plant had no intention of "bringing back Led Zeppelin" with this album, thus there is no fruit to be gained by comparing Walking Into Clarksdale with Led Zeppelin albums concerning style. I can not believe the reviews that say that this is a sorry excuse for a Reunion . Let me tell U that this recording should be in the Led Zeppelin Box Set with the rest of their albums . It's a true Led Zep record , with more Led Zep ingredients than Presence , Coda and In Through the Out Door , my least favorites . This is a nice mix of Led I to Graffitti . A must for music lovers . The first time I listened to WIC, I only liked "Most High". After listening a few times, I can't get enough. This is definately not a classis Led Zeppelin album, but everyone should remember, it is not meant to be a Zeppelin album. The guys show alot of maturity in this album, like some kind of music evolution over the past thirty years. Every Zeppelin fan should add this to their collection!
