This album is quite possable Jones best album and showing us all that well into her carier she still has it and in some cases she is harder than ever. This album for me is just one big hit each song is amazing the licks are huge her voice sounds great this is exactly what it says it is. Its Pure and Simple, Pure and Simple rock and roll full of attitude and venom i cant say enough good things about this album this is quite possibly one of my favorites of all time.

After all the pop success that the '80s brought, this long-ago Runaway returned to her tough-as-nails rock 'n' roll roots on this 1994 LP. Admirers from Bikini Kill and L7 join in as she does Spinster; Activity GRRRL; You Got a Problem; Go Home; Eye to Eye , and more great stuff. Out of print for over a decade!Dependably enough, she still loves rock & roll. But what makes this Jett's ripest outing in years is her timely and well-deserved status as Original Riot Grrrl. Rather than adopting the noisecore assault of Babes In Toyland et al., she sticks to a rockin' pop-punk classicism that still echoes with her earliest influences, Suzi Quatro and T Rex. The spotlight will rightly fall on the four tunes written with Bikini Kill's Kathleen Hanna (check "Go Home" and the withering "Spinster"), but the Jim Vallance-cowritten "Eye to Eye" and "Insecure" are also worthy. --Jeff Bateman
