THIS ALBUM CONTAINS SOME OLDER SONGS AN SOME NEWER ONES BUT ONE FACTOR THAT IS TRUE IS THAT THIS ALBUM ROCKS AN SO DOES JOAN JETT-I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS JUST A TASTE OF WHAT IS TO COME WITH THE FUTURE RELEASE OF JOANS NEW ALBUM.I HAVE LISTENED TO THESE SONGS EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THE CD AN WHAT A BUNCH OF ROCKERS JOAN HAS PUT TOGETHER IN THIS COMPILATION AN YES YA MAY SAY,BUT WHY ANOTHER COMPILATION OF HER SONGS,WELL I BELIEVE THAT JOAN JUST WANTS US TO AT LEAST GET A HINT OF WHAT THERE IS TO LOOK FORWARD TO WHEN SHE CAN GET HER CD RELEASED THE RIGHT WAY AN THE WAY THAT SHE WANTS IT DONE NOT THE WAY OTHERS MIGHT WANT IT TO BE DONE-SO I SAY WE SHOULD ALL HOPE JOAN WILL GET TO DO EVERY ALBUM TO HER STANDARDS AN NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THAN WHAT SHE FEELS IS HER VERY BEST EFFORTS FOR ALL HER FANS TO ENJOY.I SAY THIS RELEASE JUST SHOWS HOW GREAT JOAN JETT STILL IS AN ALWAYS WILL BE.THIS CD IS VERY HARD AN EXTREMELY ROCKIN,SO IF YOUR FAINT AT HEART "BEWARE" JOAN WILL FLOOR YA WITH HER FETISH.IF YOUR AS INTO ROCK-N-ROLL AS I AM THEN YOU SOULD DEFINATELY GET THIS CD,YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED-YOU WILL BE ROCKED!!Free Music Review: Nice Theme, Seems Okay To Me

Doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for this Disc, it brings back some nice and not so nice memories for me.
I got this one way back when it came out and ordered a shirt through her fan club with the insert, and got a couple stickers also with I believe a nice catalog of merchandise also.
Since I only own "Pure And Simple", and "Fit To Be Tied (Hits)"...there were alot of songs I here I didn't have, and I do like about everything on here in some form, it may not be her best work ever, but it's some really good stuff IMO, I guess I'm a really big fan. For a casual fan, perhaps this is a bit risque as they say, or if it's up your alley, then I say Oh, yeah!
...Flashback to when I washed my T-Shirt for the first time, and it was stolen off my clothesline eventually by somebody out there presumably with a bad reputation...and that person is a Coney Island Whitefish.

It's been 6 years since the "Love is All Around" single was released as a preview to the upcoming Blackhearts album that never made it...3 years since the track listing was issued.The 2 new songs on this album were to have been included on that as yet unreleased album, and one can only assume that Joan is in a way appeasing the record company weasels by sneaking them onto a compilation of old material; a real shame, because if you have seen Joan since then playing other songs intended for her "new" album you'd know they were the best since "Up Your Alley" in 1988.A real shame the industry is forcing Joan into this position, and although there are some great numbers from her included here, I can't help but think that someday soon everybody will be sorry for the noses they turned up to her since "Pure and Simple". At first glance, you might think "Oh great! Yet another compilation disc!". I thought that too, but being a diehard Joan Jett and the Blackhearts fan I had to add it to my collection. After playing it, you begin to realize that this is not an ordinary compilation. With Fetish and Baby Blue being the only new entries, the others are definitely worthwhile!! What Joan Jett does best is project sex appeal, and this record sums it up! From the controversial "Star Star" to the angry "Coney Island Whitefish" to the seductively masochistic Fetish, this CD ROCKS HARD! The ONLY thing that kept me from giving it 5 Stars is I know the kickin songs that are yet to be released, and I'm saving it for that!!!Free Music Review: This disc rocks.

A greatest hits collection of Jett sex songs. Everything cooks and the disc is solid. With this disc and Fit to be Tied you can have a good selection of Jett hits and rockers. Cheaper than her other albums used Fetish is a bargain for any Jett fan who doesn't want to pay $[$] plus a disc.
