Free Music Review: JOAN JETT''S TRIUMPHANT RETURN!
Hit: 5 Stars

After ten years without a new CD, Joan Jett triumphantly returns to rock and roll with SINNER. (Ten years if you do not count her Japan-only release NAKED. Several of the songs on NAKED can be found here.) Joan not only looks great but sounds fantastic! This one's a rocker and you need to get it!

The first track is RIDDLES. It is a war protest song about war and our loss of freedoms. At one point, Ms. Jett shouts WAKE UP PEOPLE! This is something I have been shouting for some time now. (Sadly, as long as Americans have their gas-guzzling SUV's and their cell phones, nothing else seems to matter.)

The best song by far is A.C.D.C. This one kicks. Have you seen the video with Carmen Electra? Hot!

Joan seems more and more comfortable with her sexuality here. I am sure you can guess what that sexuality is. She is not preachy - she just asks why do people care?

Finally, her remake of A 100 FEET AWAY (from ALBUM) is a nice inclusion. And it's always great to hear FETISH!

Free Music Review: AMAZING!!! Where have I been??!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm so AMAZED at Joan Jett's raw talent! The songs rock so hard, even the sweet ones. INTENSE is the best word to describe the music. This is truly my #1 favorite album of all time. Joan's voice is so STRONG and SENSUAL and filled with so much raw emotion and the guitar...damn...OFF THE CHAIN! Everything is tight on each song from the lyrics to the musicianship to the arrangements, etc. The music makes me feel so ALIVE and on fire! That's it in a nut shell...Joan Jett's music makes you FEEL and wakes you up on all levels! This is real ROCK N ROLL...SEXY, HOT, SWEATY, and GROWN!

I'm so angry at the music industry, radio, and the media in general for not continuously embracing such an IMMENSE and INCREDIBLE talent who has NEVER stopped releasing GREAT music and playing LIVE. I'm now and FOREVER a Jetthead and PROUD of it! :))))

Thank you Joan Jett!! You keep rockin' and I'll keep buying!! :)))

Free Music Review: Still Jett speed
Hit: 5 Stars

I will abide by Amazons guidelines & not criticize a particular reviewer.
"Sinner" has very few weak spots & I also like the contrast between the rockers & the slower songs. I especially liked the re-make of "100 Ft. Away". I have seen Joanie touring behind every album, even her first, and
regardless of the crowd/club, she holds nothing back. High spots include
"A.C.D.C", Riddles, Watersign, Baby Blue, Everyone Knows,Bad time. Blazing guitars, signature growling vocals, (soft/caring when necessary)--all Jett constants. "Fetish" rocks as hard as anything shes' done. I could go on but there is really not a bummer on the album. If you have been waiting for a 1st-class Jett album, wait no longer. The wait is over.

Free Music Review: Hotter than ever
Hit: 5 Stars

Ever since I saw the film The Runaways last weekend, I had been checking out the music by The Runaways as well as Joan Jett via the internet. Today I had a strong urge for some Joan Jett so I went out and bought her album Sinner. Regardless of age, Joan Jett still sounds amazing as ever with her raspy vocals. Time has not affected her vocal chords. She sounds as good as she did when she was with The Runaways. Her songs on Sinner are fast, raw, and catchy. Songs like "Riddle" and "Androgynous" (excellent cover of The Replacements). In this day and age of disposable pop music, it is great to see artists like Joan Jett still putting out good, quality music that is able to stand the test of time. With the release of The Runways movie, I do hope that the public will re-discover Joan Jett's music.

Free Music Review: Sweatie Edgie Rock N Roll
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD rocks - ACDC is a great rock song. Change the World - very Ramone's like and a great little punk song. FIVE & FETISH WILL ROCK YOUR SOCKS - After 30 years of Joan Jett rocking - she gets better and better - Seeing her LIVE is a must for any fan. Those who are not fans, become fans after seeing one live performance. The band is tight - great stage performance - edgey - Joan Flirts with everyone in the audience as she flicks her sweat at them - Very interactive show and the songs from Sinner ROCK!! BUY THIS CD - They don't make ROCK n ROLL Cds like this anymore!!!
