Free Music Notes for Live from Nowhere in ParticularFree Music Review: Holy... Hit: 5 Stars
One thing's for sure: This man can fly.
This guy was born as a prodigy, playing with the group Bloodline (Freddy Krueger's song, Miles Davis' son, Berry Oakley's son, et al) at the age of 16. The only other guitarist who showed such prowess at this age was Derek Trucks. Bonamassa is definitely a legend. He can play. Oh boy, can he play.
BUY THIS NOW.
If I had to pick a favorite, I'd go with "India-Mountain Time." Outrageously good.
Free Music Review: Memorable Hit: 5 Stars
Listened to Joe for a number of years but never had the opportunity to see him live. By chance I won tickets and an autographed guitar on a local radio station. Saw him @ Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank New Jersey and can't get that night out of my head.
The consumate guitarist, Joe played for over 2 hours w/o a break. A small venue (CBT) was the perfect showplace for his talents..Sloe Gin/ John Henry and all the rest were incredible..
Free Music Review: Joe Bonamassa Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of the best music purchases I have made in a very long time. I only heard 2 songs before buying the CD, Bridge to Better Days and Woke Up Dreaming. I just fell in love with India/Mountain Time, what a powerful song and Django/Just Got Paid, Joe can make that guitar sing! I am buying a second set for my husband so he keeps his hands off of mine! If you ever heard Joe play this CD is a must purchase, it is GREAT!!
Free Music Review: Next best thing to being there. Hit: 5 Stars
This CD is a great representation of what Joe is playing live right now. I highly recommend this CD and encourage anyone who hasn't seen Joe play to do whatever it takes to get to one of his shows. Most great guitar players seem to inspire you to brush the dust off the old Strat and tear into it, but after seeing a Joe Bonamassa show you want to go home and burn it. Buy this CD.
(I didn't really burn my guitar.)
Free Music Review: Outstanding "LIVE" disc! Hit: 5 Stars
One of the best live albums of the year, hands down.
The cat can play un-frickin-believable.
One the best blues guitarist out there today.
Scratch that.
One of the best guitar slingers in the world.
His vocals are outstanding also.
I haven't seen him live, but after listening to this countless times, I will most definitely!
Go get this disc!
