Have to agree with Mr JD Arndt (reviewer) This simply is a well put together cd. Cole Porter being my very favorite composer of American standards, John Barrowman put out one hell of a cd with this one and I'm sure Cole would be just beaming. Also purchased his Broadway cd, that one is no comparison, infact, I sold it. Being a fan of Mr Barrowman, I expected better. This one is a winner, one that you should enjoy for years to come, I promise.Free Music Review: Fantastic album, great listening

This album is just wonderful to listen to, great variety of songs and beautifully sung. The voice of John Barrowman has to be heard, every word is sung clearly and pitch perfect.
A favourite song of mine is Anything Goes, done slower than the show version, but it really works, definitely worth listening to.
The CD has a good variety of Cole Porter songs to suit all musical tastes, it has been money well spent!

Who knew he could sing?!? I love watching him in Torchwood and on Doctor Who but a singer? I was doubtful until my friend explained he was a singer to begin with. I bought this cd as a test run and was blown away. He does a wonderful rendition of each song and puts a lot of heart into it.
This is one of the CDs that make it into my regular rotation.

John Barrowman is a sensational talent. Not very well known in the US, he should be. He's been on Broadway and he plays Capt. Jack Harkness on the BBC series "Torchwood". He's a gorgeous man with a gorgeous voice. Every single track on this CD is wonderful. He does terrific justice to the music and lyrics of Cole Porter. Check it out. You'll love him!
