Free Music Notes for Hedwig And The Angry Inch: Original Cast RecordingFree Music Review: The best since "Chess" Hit: 5 Stars
"Hedwig and the Angry Inch" is quite possibly one of the most inspired and listenable rock albums I have ever heard, and easily the best show album since the 1985 London version of "Chess". From the opener "Tear Me Down" to the hard, masochistic eponymous track, this is theater music at it's best: intelligent, daring, and telling.
Free Music Review: I bow before Hedwig. WOW!! Hit: 5 Stars
I do not know how I made it through so many months of waiting for this CD to come out. This is by far some of the finest rock music I have heard in a long time. Even after seeing the show over 10 times, this music is as fresh and wonderful to me as the first time I heard it. Go see this show, and definitely run to your local record store and BUY THIS CD!!
Free Music Review: Perfect! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm from L.A. and this was my first experience in New York. I originally wanted to see Rent but I'm so glad my girlfriend took me to see Hedwig! It is rare to find a cd with every song being a good one! It is a shame that this cd is not being played on the radio. If Hedwig makes it to Los Angeles, I will be the first in line to see it again! Incredible!
Free Music Review: A muscial journey into the future Hit: 5 Stars
This is the best recording in the history of musical theater. John Cameron Mitchell guides us with his truthful voice into the Hedwig's world. He is an excellent storyteller, who shares the elements of Hedwig's story with us: loneliness, abandonment, and complention, in a straighforward and honest manner. Definatley litsen to this amazing piece of truth.
Free Music Review: I say, the best, eVeRRR. Hit: 5 Stars
I havn't found such musical and lyrical succulence so satisfying in years, (not since my high school obsessions in early U2). I found this tape laying around at a friend's house. I put it in randomly and tasted its turbulence in an iNstant. Such quality, it makes me happy and drool and all that. I wish it was more well known. F--cking fabulous.
