Canadian Music Store Free Music Notes for You Can't See MeFree Music Review: Cena CDThis is a pretty good cd. I like both rap and wrestling, and to give you a sampling of my taste, i think the following are talented rappers; Chamillionaire, D-Block, Cam'Ron, 50 Cent (pre-massacre), Lloyd Banks, Hell Rell, most of Dipset, Tony Yayo, Luda, 8ball and MJG, Young Buck, T.I. Young Jeezy (what can i say, i live in the south), i like Lil Jon, but hes more crunk music than rap, and yes there is a diff, but he puts alot of rappers on his cds, which makes it even better. but back to You Can't See Me, not great, but good. moves along nicely IE no really bad songs that you just HAVE to change to the next song. good lyrics, smooth flows, alot of good beats, just a few tacky instances, ChainGang is the click is a tad hokey, and you can tell he made that one for his "Chain-Gang Soldiers". a few generic rap rhythms like Just Another Day and Make It Loud. But other than those three it's a pretty good rap album. and even so, those songs arent bad, just run of the mill rap, and like i said, a shout-out song. Time Is Now, Bad Man, All Ended Tomorrow, Right Now, This is how we roll, We Didn't Want you to Know. Honestly, all the people who say John Cena CANT rap, just can't get past the fact they don't like John Cena. I recommend this cd, it's definate cd player music if your on a bus or say waiting in an airport or what have you. I won't deny a good portion of Cena's fanbase are kids, but this CD IS NOT FOR KIDS... unless you buy an edited version. but yea, for a first time rap cd, despite obviously being white, Cena and Trademarc both deliver. And for his tiny cameos, Freddie Foxx always delivers. If you want a sampling of Cena's style listen to Basic Thugonomics. but yea, definately 3.5 or 4 outta 5 stars. |
