We love this cd. Our first copy was a record bought for our kids, then we had a tape and then a cd. The kids are grown but still enjoy the recording and this latest copy was for our granddaughter who loves it. The late John Denver interacted beautifully with the Muppets, there is a good variety of music and it all comes together for good Christmas listening for all ages. We have over 30 Christmas albums and this is by far the best. This was on TV when my first child was a baby (he is now 31). Through the years, we have had this on vinyl, tape and CD. You would not expect the Muppets to make such a poignant record but there are songs that always move me to tears as well as ones that make me laugh. You will make a tradition of listening to this CD at least once a year.Free Music Review: Great Album

I love this CD!! Growing up my sisters and I played this record over and over every year for Christmas...however, I was sorely disappointed when I grew up and no longer had a record player and couldn't find it on CD. Then a couple years back I was able to find it and was sooo excited, except the version I have only has 10 songs. Christmas is NOT Christmas until the first time we hear John Denver sing along with the whole gang of Muppets! My kids and I always decorated cookies to the songs. They are fun, and bouncy and heartfelt and sweet. I bought 5 copies so I could give each of my adult kids her own copy and an additional one for myself in case anything ever happens to ours. I dearly wish we could see the original special again but this is the one Christmas album I and my family listen to without fail every year. If you love the Muppets or John Denver or both, you need this in your collection. For me, the definitive version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is by Rolf the dog and Denver. The album is a mix of funny and poignant, and I recommend it highly.
