I love this CD!! Growing up my sisters and I played this record over and over every year for Christmas...however, I was sorely disappointed when I grew up and no longer had a record player and couldn't find it on CD. Then a couple years back I was able to find it and was sooo excited, except the version I have only has 10 songs. This is absolutely the BEST compilation of Christmas music! Many years ago, when it was first introduced, I purchased it because our family loved both John Denver AND the Muppets! The kids (AND adults) very much enjoyed both the traditional and unique messages, along with the sillyness as well as the opportunity to recognize the beauty of the season in some of the pieces (i.e. Alfie, The Christmas Tree). Anyway, I have since purchased this CD for everyone who has children (even older ones) and the parents say it soon becomes a favorite. At Thanksgiving, my son announced that he didn't have his copy any longer and that it was the most upbeat, fun, reflective Christmas CD ever. So, once again, I relied on Amazon to help out on this one! As soon as I brought the title up, it offered something even MORE--an Anniversary edition, and for only $5.99! Anyway, I purchased it and mailed it early to my son (who lives out of town) to enjoy during the season. His wife said, "he's been listening to it all the time, including in the shower!" Another success story! Thank you for recognizing this wonderful "piece of Christmas" and offering it at such a reasonable price! Long live Amazon!

The Muppets and John Denver rule. I have listened to this recording since its inception, and now my daughter really enjoys it. Both the Muppets and John Denver wore their hearts on their sleeves, and were some of the last true American artists. Peace to you All!
