Excellent CD! It's unfortunate we never heard some of these songs while he was in concert. Purchasing this CD was like having JD alive again! There is no doubt he wrote "On the Wings..", "River", and "Four Strong Winds". This CD also has a few catchy tunes like "Dance Little Jean" and "Nobody Can Take My Dreams From Me" (great tune!!!!!). "Mr. B.." could have been left out, but "The Game is Over" is a very nice touch for the ending song. I highly recommend this CD!!Free Music Review: Different and delightful

This isn't simply another shuffling of the hit songs of John Denver. Sometimes his voice isn't in top form but I enjoyed it. I like the variety of songs and many that I havn't heard before.John isn't here to perfect all the music he was working on. So, if you are a die hard fan, this is the only way you will ever hear him sing some of these songs. I hope there are more songs and that they will be released in the future. But we all know that they won't be released without our support of this CD. The music is different but it is good.

Where has RCA been hiding this stuff. It is classic Denver before he started changing his style for the worst in the early eighties. "River" does for water what "Sunshine on My Shoulders" did for sunshine. "No One" should be on a greatest hits lp. The only song I could live without here is "Nobody Can Take My Dreams from Me". This is well worth the money. I hope RCA has some more treasures like this stashed away.

When I bouth this cd I did not expect it to be filled with great songs that I never heard John Denver sing before. It's woth the price just to hear John sing "Four Strong Wings" but the biggest surprise here is the very emotional "No One" which will bring a tear or two to your eyes. I FOUND THIS ALBUM IN RUWI HIGH STREET,OMAN AND HAVE PLAYED IT PROBABLY 50 TIMES. IT ALWAYS TAKES UP ONE SLOT ON MY CD PLAYER. THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL JD FANS. A PARTICULARLY SPECIAL COLLECTION OF SONGS WHICH APPARENTLY HAD TO BE DRAGGED OUT OF THE VAULT. WHERE WILL WE GET ANOTHER SONGWRITER/PERFORMER WITH THE ABILITY TO TOUCH SO MANY HEARTS.
