Free Music Review: John Denver at his best!

I first heard John live in 1968 in the last incarnation of the old Chad Mitchell Trio, called "Denver, (David) Boise, and (Michael) Johnson". About a year later, I co-produced what turned out to be his first concert of longer than two hours anywhere in the world, a night I will treasure until my dying day. When John sang accompanied only by his guitar playing, it was absolute magic. To hear John perform live on this set with only his 6- and 12-string guitars brings all of that back. It's a wonderful recording that all JD fans should add to their collections, even if they have these songs in their library more than once, like me. John's been gone for more than 10 years now, but in listening several times to this album, it's like he never left. Many thanks to those who were able to get this recording released!Free Music Review: John's talent still shows as being at the top!!!

EXCELLENT CD, just beautiful...his voice still shines, and it's as if he's right next to you singing, with all his talent, giving you his heart and soul. And to think WHERE this was recorded and how HE was the one who opened the door for so many others, and as he always said, "we are all the same, only the names are different." JD fans really need to get this CD!!!!
