My advice? Buy this CD. It's the companion piece to the DVD, 'The Long Road Home', and features almost every song ever recorded by John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. It sounds fresh. It captures Fogerty in concert in 2005. I would highly recommend that you buy the video companion, especially if you haven't seen Fogerty live. His voice is fresher and stronger than ever and the energy and joy he brings to each performance is worth the price of admission. Buying music recorded live can sometimes be chancy. The acoustics at the Wiltern, where this was recorded, could not be better. This is possibly the best 'pedal to the metal' CD ever! I'd recommend it to CCR fans as well as anyone who likes good ol' rock 'n roll the way it's supposed to be played.Free Music Review: The Ultimate collection of the best of CCR & John Fogerty

If you are either a fan of CCR fan or John Fogerty, this is all you need. Go to your nearest CD store and buy it. The sound qualtiy is excellent coupled with a great
selection of songs. Simply stated, it doesn't get any better than this. I was in a band
in high school and college and we played many of CCR's classics. This CD allows you
to relive those great moments. It a a CD loaded with great songs that you will be
humming for days. As a CCR fan for over 35 years, I reccomend this CD without reservation. It is simply great! This is the difiniitve CCR/John Forgerty CD. Just go out and buy it!

This is better than anything John or CCR has out. even better than any of the remastered CCR cd's. I dont get into song selection its all good, you can take 10 dif people on 10 of the same CD's and everyone will have dif views on song pref. Firstly its all about how its SOUNDS. If I dont have to turn all my cd's players to near full blast to get a good hum out of it then its all good.
5 + stars on the remaster on this one.
Listened with Sennheiser 595's, the best that I have found, had 555 for a couple years they are nice too, but cant touch 595's, pay the dif and see, er I mean hear.

John Fogerty has finally released the best songs of his career on one collection. This is not only CCR but his entire career.
John Fogerty in the 60's was in the best Rock and Roll Band in America. Creedence Clearwater was then and remains one of the finest Rock and Roll Bands in history and possibly the best in American history. John Fogerty remains the top writer in American history.
This collection is a must for any CCR or John Fogerty fan.
The entire collection has been released before other than "Bootleg" Live. Lets hope John Fogerty will have songs to add to this in the future.....enjoy

Although there were a few things that were left off of this disk (it really should have been a 2-disc), like "Rock and Roll Girls", among others, this best of album is a must have for CCR/Fogerty fans. Fans will enjoy the live music as well, mainly if you have ever seen Fogerty live (he's incredible). All of this music has depth and soul, not just completely flat like some of the music made today. Every song on this disc is amazing, and definitely pays tribute to one of the best rockers and "chooglers" of our time.
