I bought this album after i heard unreachable. (which is still my favorite song on the album) I've always loved the red hot chili peppers but i had never bought any of john's solo work. I mainly bought it because of RHCP. of the two songs i heard, (unreachable and central) i liked them a lot.
When i first listened to the album i was a bit dissapointed by the other material. but as i listened more i liked it more. all the songs are very thought out and meaningful. absolutely no filler. even though i don't quite understand the concept I'm sure it makes sense to mr. Frusciante. all in all great album.

John Frusciante continues to create original music, which far exceeds his contributions to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
His vocal range has alkways been an understatement, but this album, in particular, proves he's one the greatest vocalists of all time.
This record showcases everything's that's right in the world of Fru.
Here's hoping he finally tours with a full blown band backing him. We can always wish.

Johns music always takes a few listens to grow on me, and before long they are the songs stuck in my head at all hours. I love the way john conveys his emotions thru his music, while none of us can truly understand where he is coming from, it is powerful all the same and I appreciate and am in awe of his gift. So far my favorites are: Unreachable, Central and Heaven. A must have for any frusciante fan...Free Music Review: What An Awesome C.D. !!!!

I eagerly anticipated this c.d's arrival. I could have kissed the mailman when it came!!! It did not disappoint. I have listened to it repeatedly and I am glad to say that it gets better with every play. I can not recommend it enough. Don't think about, Just Buy It! You will not be disappointed. It will take you on a magical journey, of which you will not want to return.Free Music Review: a real music experience

People forgot how to listen to real music... this album is like Opera, it makes you sit down, do nothing and simply listen to it.
P.S. I would advise everyone to follow John Frusciante's recommendation: "it should be played as loud as possible and it is suited to dark living rooms late at night".
