This is the first cd of his I bought, and I was disappointed some of the lyrics seemed more mean-spirited and harsh than I expected/they needed to be. One of my favorite r&b (Stevie the Wonder) never utters a harsh word, but can state a negative opinion w/out offending. Maybe it's a maturity issue, either his or mine, I'm not sure.Free Music Review: disillusioned but good

John Legend is a great and wonderful singer composer etc., but cursing on a CD takes away from an album, it changes the feeling you get from it. I got this on sale, and since I didn't see any warning about elicit content I didn't worry even though I saw Snoop Dog as one of the persons featured on the CD so I figured safe buy. I should have know better the people who produce these CD led you to think it is a safe buy when it is not then you get it home and you are disappointed. For those that don't care about such things it is a great CD great smooth sounds and great lyrics. I just wish I could get some art without negative hate word such as cursing, unless it serves meanful purpose in what the artist is trying to convey and not just saying it because they can. For instance if you happen to be telling a story in your song and you are angry then that maybe appropriate to have a curse word because curse words are used to convey anger. You don't use a curse word to convey how much you love some one or lust for them. You certainly won't get a kiss from me! I need to research these CDs before I buy them even if there isn't a warning on them. Before buying a CD check [..] and see if it is appropriate if you are about positive living. I would buy another John Legend CD because I think is his an artist with integrity.Free Music Review: Kinky Boots DVD

When shopping for the Kinky Boots Sound Track CD, Amazon popped up the movie DVD and I made the mistake of ordering that. It took a very nice vendor an several weeks (plus postage) to return the item.
I placed an order for the CD on 6/16 and am still waiting for it. It is taking a long time.
