Free Music Notes for Inside Wants OutFree Music Review: The EP, dude Hit: 5 Stars
John Mayer's Inside Wants Out is a great CD, and I have both of his major CDs, Room For Squares and Heavier Things. I don't own Inside Wants Out, but there are some songs on there that are on Room For Squares and I was surprised at how different they sounded. For instance, on No Such Thing, he improvises a lot and he also made an error and did not block it off, as opposed to the one on Room For Squares, it sounds perfect. Too bad 3x5 wasn't on Inside Wants Out, though, it's my favorite song. I recommend John Mayer all the way.

For any new John Mayer fans, this is the bare essentials and the deep down makeup of what John Mayer is. These eight tracks of more intimate versions of some of the Room For Squares songs are necessary for any John Mayer fan. This album, from 1999 is the quintessential record for people who would like a few extra tracks from John Mayer. These songs are more about John and his guitar, not so much the studio scene. I love this album. I gave it 5 stars and I highly reccomend it to anyone.
Free Music Review: Unbelievable!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this CD just because No Such Thing stopped me in my tracks everytime I heard it. I had no idea though, that the rest of the CD would move me as well. It's my favorite at this time -- not a bad song on it.I was skeptical at first when I saw his picture on the CD case (I mean... could this kid be more than 12???) but John Mayer's crisp, clean guitar playing and voice along with the outstanding melodies have made a new fan in me. I love it and would recommend to anyone!
Free Music Review: A great introduction to John... Hit: 5 Stars
Having gone to a John Mayer concert before I even bought "No Room for Squares", I find this CD a must have for any John fan. "Squares" lacks the original feel of this album; many songs have become very pop-star on "Squares". "Inside" gives you a concert feel, without the concert and screaming of young girls. Also included are a few of John's great songs, such as "Comfortable" which are not on "Squares".
