It starts with the nice, mellow, acoustic set that sets the mood for a promising GREAT show! Great choice of songs to start off, ESPECIALLY "Stop This Train!" Kicks in, BLOWING MY MIND with the Trio... Oh man these guys can play! The second CD goes off with the full band set! You can hear EVERYTHING you want to hear on one of his shows! What else can I say??? The man speaks though a guitar with such an easy tone for the ear... I am a musician myself and I just don't get tired of hearing him. I can pick out ANY of his CDs, any day and just listen to the art of guitar playing gone RIGHT! A great buy for whoever is buying this CD!

Two CD set. This album captures the multi-Grammy Award winning, platinum selling singer and songwriter in the element where fans love him the most - Live on stage! The special concert includes three sets: an acoustic performance, a rare set with John Mayer Trio (with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), as well as a set featuring Mayer's full band, all recorded during the night of December 8, 2007 at the Nokia Theater in LA. This album features the quintessential performer as an acoustic songwriter, electric guitar slinger, bluesman and vocalist. Highlights include many of Mayer's biggest hits, 'Waiting On The World To Change' new interpretations of cover songs, 'Free Fallen' and a previously unreleased Mayer gem 'In Your Atmosphere'.The much anticipated double CD of John Mayer in concert includes all the guitar player's hits, and the sound is unique. But the album is nothing more than a compilation of the different facets of Mayer, whose performance is divided into his three major stages. In the first part, he sings with the sole accompaniment of his acoustic guitar. Then he moves to a more jazz- and blues-inclined trio format (guitar, bass, and drums).
