Free Music Review: Wonderful piece and performance

This is a gorgeous piece, and McLaughlin plays it brilliantly. There's a 3-star review from someone who didn't like the mix, but I did not notice any issue with the mix. I hear the guitar very clearly. This album should have a 5-star average rating.
For my tastes, it compares favorably with Rodrigo's famous Concierto de Aranzuez. The middle movement of that piece is a a great all-time classic, and is probably a bit better than anything here. But I feel that McLaughlin's piece beats the other two movements. McLaughlin's range as a musician and composer is unbelievable. This piece is moving and warm. If you like Rodrigo, you must have this, and if you like McLaughlin, how could you not experience this?
