Free Music Notes for Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsFree Music Review: Runs the Emotional Gamet Hit: 5 Stars
John Williams' film scores have always been so adored by fans that they become instant classics and this album is no exception! His music is somehow teetering on the edge between contemporary and nostalgic. I did enjoy the first soundtrack but never felt the need to buy it. This album, though, has a way of reminding me of childhood, yet the sounds are all brand new. Williams' music for this film seems to take the listener from thrilled, elated, and inspired to petrified to furious to heart-broken. But no matter the heart-string pulled the music is phoenomenal and will be enjoyed by all - Harry fan or not!
Free Music Review: The music of Harry Potter Returns Hit: 5 Stars
While many of the favorite Harry Potter melodies are all too familiar, John Williams was able to build upon them to bring us an even grander soundtrack. There are many melodies that will distinctly remind one of some of the classical composers of old, such as Bach or Wagner. I also noticed a few that are reminiscent of some tunes from Williams' Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade Soundtrack. I think I enjoyed the "Chamber of Secrets" Soundtrack even more than I did the original soundtrack from the "Sorcerer's Stone" If you are a fan of John Williams' music, this sountrack is a must have!
Free Music Review: Enthusiastic and intriguing! Hit: 5 Stars
It's a great soundtrack! John Williams managed yet again to recapture the magic of Harry Potter by this rousing and inspirational film score. I really liked Fawkes the Phoenix, in fact it was one of the best I've heard since the Jurassic Park theme. Most of music score is similar to Philospher's Stone but there are a few certain new scores bound to capture your ears like Spiders and the Flying Car. Also, the CD includes bonus CD-ROM and collectible covers (I got Harry! :-) All in all, a wonderful effort from Wiliams and no doubt it's definitely worth a buy!
Free Music Review: Perfect! Hit: 5 Stars
John Williams couldn't have done a better job of building off the Scorcerer's Stone to create one of my favorite soundtracks. The melodies he creates for certain characters in the story are not only perfect, but beautiful. Fawkes the Phoenix is, perhaps, one of the most captivating and glorious pieces...while Gilderoy Lockhart sincerely seems to sound like Lockhart would if he were a song! The soundtrack is packed with beautiful, memorable melodies and will leave you completely satisfied. Purchase this soundtrack with confidence...it's magnificent!
Free Music Review: A Must Have For All Harry Potter Fans! Hit: 5 Stars
I LOVE this CD! I listen to it every day in my car, and as I listen to each song I can see the scenes and hear the dialogue in my head. It's a blast! All the music is full of Harry Potter magic and nothing puts me in a better mood. It's great to listen to after reading the books or seeing the movie. Plus, the collectable covers are really fun. I have Hermoine, but I want them all! My hope is that they'll eventually sell the whole set together. I would highly recomend this to anyone who loves Harry Potter or is just looking for some exciting music!
