Yet again, John Williams proves to us that he is indeed one of the best film composers of all time.Themes from the Harry Potter movies have stuck in our heads and won't leave. "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter 1 was a milestone, one of a kind, and the themes on this cd sometimes surpasses the ones on the first soundtrack.
Just listen to themes like "Fawkes the Phoenix" and "Dobby the House Elf" and you'll see what I mean. In the meantime - send a thought to John Williams, one of our greatest film composers.

As a long time fan of both John Williams and Harry Potter, you can imagine how much I was looking forward to this soundtrack. When I first heard "Fawkes the Phoenix," I was absolutely blown away! I couldn't believe that John Williams had actually outdone himself! A lot of John's wonderful music from the first film is reborn along with new material. Also, if you listen hard enough, you can hear some of his other great scores sneaking in and out of the new stuff. This CD is awesome! Go buy it!Free Music Review: Fantastic!!

John Williams has done it again. This soundtrack is an absolute wonderful thing to behold. Just as he did for the Star Wars movies, he has carefully crafted the themes from the first movie with some brand new cues. Fawkes' theme is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. The music from these two movies is quickly becoming my favorite orchestral scores, a spot previously held by The Rocketeer, by James Horner (another excellent score). This is the best soundtrack John Williams has done. There are great new themes, but there are some themes from the Sorcerer's Stone soundtrack. Fawkes the Phenoix is a great new theme and I consider it to be the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets theme, much like Hedwig's theme from the Sorcerer's Stone CD. Harry's Wonderous World is much like the one from the first CD, but does not get quiet at the end of the track. This is a must get if you saw the movie and are a John Williams fan!Free Music Review: Harry Potter

If you liked the movie, you will LOVE the sound track. I listen to it at work all day and the music takes you back to the wonderful sites in the movie.
Very inspiring and relaxing at the same time. I have ALL the sound tracks to ALL the movies, this one has the longest of the Harry Potter Themes ... "Harry's Wonderous World" Takes you right back into the movie.
Highly suggested for ANY Harry Potter fan, young or old.
