Free Music Review: Excellent CD, but no bonus CD in the States....??

John Williams did it again, an excellent score with notable new themes like Fawkes the Phoenix. Last year with the release of "The Philospher's Stone" we were so lucky to get a CD-rom with trailers, screensavers and stuff, and this year Warner Music did the same for us. But I don't read anything about bonusmaterial on this site. Does Warner USA skip the American listeners again...??

This is one of the best soundtracks ever produced, even without images from the movie to go along with the soundtrack (since the movie hasn't been released yet) the music tells the story in a new way. Although there is dissapointment in the fact that there isn't a track with the quidditch match in it,this soundtrack is complete and is a must have for harry potter/john williams fanatics.Free Music Review: The Magic of Harry Potter

I bought the soundtrack the day it came out. I was expecting something pretty good but instead I got...amazing! I love this soundtrack! It is a lot darker than the first and has more character themes. My favorite tracks are "Fawkes the Phoenix," "Gilderoy Lockhart," and "Dueling the Basilisk." aunque en la pelicula no ocupan mucho el tema de "Fawkes the phoenix" (esa canciòn me encanta mucho), el soundtrack esta muy bien, las canciones representan muy bien el objetivo, tal como el tema de "The spiders" de las arañas esta genial o el del Dobby the house elf y se juntan muy bien...comprenlo, vale la pena, ca!

John Williams shows what he's capable of on this soundtrack. The music is stronger, louder, and better than his work on the first movie's album. It is more defined and actually paints the pictures for the listener (before the listener has even seen the movie). I think this soundtrack is phenomenal, certainly a must-own for score collectors like myself.
