My daughter has been a big fan of Johnny Cash (loves his voice!) since infancy. I was delighted to see that he has a children's album. She really enjoys it, as do her parents. The only downside is that some of the songs' lyrics are not really appropriate for little kids. However, this album is more child-friendly than most. Free Music Review: Johnny Cash - Children's Album

My 7 year old son loves Johnny Cash - It was great to give him a Johnny Cash CD which had more appropriate songs on it. He already has a few favorites after listening to it only a few times. June joins him on a song which also was a treat. Most songs have the "Johnny Cash" lyrics to them but age adjusted.

We gave this CD to our six-year-old son who is a Johnny Cash fan. He loves it--and so do the rest of the family. My husband and I have caught ourselves humming or singing the words of some of the songs as we go about the day. One of our son's favorites is the song, "One and One Makes Two," which is about the value in having friends/sharing/etc. We also enjoy this album because of Johnny's voice and ability to tell a story with song. Our son was singing along after just a couple times of hearing it. Plus, it's a nice change to have a children's album that is not just the "usual" kids songs and/or kids' singing. This was a Chriatmas gift for a family member that loves Johnny Cash. It is an obscure Johnny Cash album featuring songs for a young audience. Item arrived in time for Christmas and in brand-new condition.
