The Legend of Johnny Cash does a pretty good job of condensing Johnny's music over his career. Where as it doesn't cover all of my favorites, it is still an amazing compilation of John's work and offers insight to this simple man's wisdom and talent. This an awesome album, it has all of his best known songs from 1955-2002, which unlike the (essential johnny cash) this features his hits with american recordings, this is by far the best cd to buy. Highly recommended.Free Music Review: Cash in on a legend

This is a great snap shot of the legend that is Johnny Cash. It has some of his best hits, and some classic historical songs. The last track "Hurt", Trent Reznor may have the rights to it but Cash owns it!!! Peroid!!!
