Please don't buy this CD expecting the music to sound like Bon Jovi--it DOESN'T. Jon used a lot of different musical styles in making this CD. Some of the sounds I don't even know how they were made--which musical instruments were used. This doesn't mean the music is bad--just different--and DEFINITELY NOT BON JOVI MUSIC! But forget the music, if you love to hear Jon sing this a CD you will love. There is only one Jon Bon Jovi--no one else sounds like he does. So when you listen to this CD focus on the words and the voice. Jon's voice is in fine form. It is a shame you don't read or hear much about this CD. Because if you love Jon's voice this is a must have CD for you!Free Music Review: fantastic album.

This album shows us a different Bon Jovi than we are used to hearing, this album is more mature and has tremendous depth. These attributes are not usually connected with rock music, never the less they are fully applicable to this fantastic album. It's more mellow sound is an interesting mix of the traditional rock guitar style, and a nineties edge. The album is filled with excellent songs, no two songs sound the same, this is one of the strenghts of the album, it keeps the album alive, even after several months, even years, you'll still find yourself putting this album in the cd-player for yet another listen.Free Music Review: Lyrics that will reach out to anyone with a heart

I absolutely loved this album, I love the usual Bon Jovi stuff - and usually Bon Jovi is strong with the melody - But now Jon went solo and wrote one of the most deepest and meaningful albums I've ever heard. Most of the songs have slow and a kinda dark melody to them and the words from especially songs like - "Little City" (My all time fav.), "Aug. 4:15" and "Destination Anywere" make up a truely great album everyone should listen to at least once (although I listen to it very often because it's one of those albums, that u can never get tired of!)Free Music Review: great work by Jon Bon Jovi

Yes, I agree with the other rewiews, its a great cd! Very different from the usually Bon Jovi sound, but very very good.I bought it in 1997, when it came out, but I listened to it just one time, withouth appreciate it, because I was busy to listening to other music. At this moment, I am just listening to it, and it seems to me completely different. "Every word was a piece of my heart" and "Its just me" are great songs.
It's a shame that somebody talks bad about this album just because it's different from classical Bon Jovi (the band) sound.
