To many people remember Jon in his work with the group Bon Jovi, in his early years as a kid, he did alot of stuff that rocked, but as he got older and lived life, his music took on a certain soulfullness that you can get into and feel, "these days" and "destination anywhere" are truly gold to the ears, if you are hung up looking for classic Bon Jovi sounds like, "Shot through the heart", buy a classic CD, this one is for the true fans, and is truly an awesome mix of Jon's heart and soul!Free Music Review: Thank you Jon

This was a LONG awaited album for me. The writing style was different but I felt that he had grown and matured and his style reflected that. To me he is one of the best writers out there, he has feeling and emotions in the music and that's getting hard to fine. It seems his best singles weren't even released. Listen to "Every Word Is 'a Piece of my Heart", "Ugly", and "Naked", May Jon continue to make smart creative music like this forever.Free Music Review: Excellent Excellent

Destination Anywhere was a fabulous CD. I enjoyed every song on the cd. These were even better than the normally wonderful Jon Bon Jovi songs. U*G*L*Y was wonderful for anyone who has had self confidence problems. I recommend they listen to this one. I would recommend Bon Jovi and non Bon Jovi fans take a listen to this one it is wonderful. I bought this cd when it came out, and loved it right away. I still listen to it regularly, and continue to be amazed that none of the tracks were ever released as singles. "Midnight in Chelsea" and "Queen of New Orleans" are just two of the many great songs that are better than a lot of the junk that makes it onto the airwaves, so the lack of attention to the only solo release from such a major talent is inexplicable.Free Music Review: It'll make you want to pack up your bags and just go.

Many people slated this album but I think it's a great one for proper mucic lovers who like the idea of songwriting and music from the soul. Every song is a 'piece of heart' and I can relate to every single one. I'm sure you could too. If you listen to Destination Anywhere in the small hours of the morning it'll make you want to pack your bags and just GO. Amazing. The real thing - non of this plastic pop.
