Free Music Notes for Jonas Brothers

Free Music Review: Nice, if you like the music equivalent of pablum
Hit: 1 Stars

The Jonas Brothers are geniuses in the same way Britney Spears was the most original artist of her generation. Basically, the cultural powers that be at Disney decided to pluck a New Jersey trio of photo-ready teens from obscurity and ram them down the throats of teenage girls (especially the ones who do not yet have enough sophistication to download pirated music from Chinese servers). Thankfully, Hanson was short-lived, as were The New Kids on the Block. These "emo lite" millionaires will be faded soon, too.

Free Music Review: What can I say BAD about this?
Hit: 5 Stars

The Jonas Brothers are my favorite band and this CD is awesome! There were only 3 songs that weren't great, but none were terrible.

Hello Beautiful
Kids of the Future
Autralia

Those were the only ones that weren't terrific.

The Jonas Brothers are AWESOME!

Free Music Review: Jonas Brothers STINK!!!
Hit: 1 Stars

I don't know why people like the Jonas Brothers so much. Their voices are terrible. I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard than listen to them sing. Their songs are always repetitive. I mean--HELLO--When You Look Me in the Eyes repeats the title at least ELEVEN stinkin' times. I don't understand why they're so famous. Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus is SO much better.

Free Music Review: Great cd Jonas
Hit: 5 Stars

All songs are really well written for these guys to be so young.I got this for my daughter for the holidays and of course she loved it.Looking forward to what the next one sounds like.

Free Music Review: The Kids of the Future
Hit: 5 Stars

I'll admit discovered the Jonas Brothers on Disney Channel. For the record, this band is fantastic. It's astounding. They may be teenagers like myself but these boys are certainly great musicians.

I disagree with those writing reviews saying that the JoBros are only Disney Channel spawns, like the HSM and Hannah Montana phenomena. Very wrong. Yes, their music videos appear on the Disney Channel, but, personally, this music is great for all ages (little kids can listen to the music because the music, like the band, is clean-cut). These aren't cheap, childish jingles--they're stories about what's on the minds of three kids from New Jersey. And no, you don't have to be a teenaged girl to like the Jonas Brothers' music.

Kevin (20), Joe (18), and Nick Jonas (15) are a talented group of young men. They write their own music, their own lyrics. They play their own instruments and sing with their own voices. They've appeared on Broadway and T.V. commercial in the past. They know what "real" music is. These guys are the kind of band where you can't just pick and choose the hits--because you might as well buy the entire c.d.

S.O.S.: the big hit of the c.d. with a dance feel and worth the hype; JB's version of Hanson's "MMMBop" and the Beatles' "She Loves You"

Hold On: a simple, passionate song that can keep you going during the hard days

Goodnight and Goodbye: a song that brings a smile to my face with its unique beat and creative guitar sounds

That's Just the Way We Roll: a silly, crazy song with its midsummer dance party feel

Hello, Beautiful: the first slow track of the album, a sweet "I miss you" song accompanied by acoustic guitar; Nick and Joe's voices are so into this one you'd think they're singing it directly into your heart

Still in Love With You: a head-bopping song with a fun beat but very real lyrics; great for those who have been dumped by a boy/girlfriend and still have odd feelings for them

Australia: a fun, Relient K-ish singalong that showcase the cutesy, random side of the Jonas Brothers

Games: this song has a different sounding twist compared to JB's others, with a reggae feel

When You Look Me in the Eyes: a raise-you-cell-phone-and-wave-it-in-the-air rocker ballad; Nick's high riffs are to die for

Hollywood: on the brink of making headlines, this catchy tune certainly says "Hollywood, here we come"

Inseparable: an intense, distance-cannot-break-our-love song with ripping electric guitars that manages to take your breath away

Just Friends: an all-around unique song where the boys sing of having casual friendships they hope will turn into relationships that has the passion of "Hold On" in the spirit of "Still in Love With You"

Year 3000: a fun, dance-along cover of the Busted hit with a few changed lyrics

Kids of the Future: based off of "Kids of America" for a Disney movie

This is a real band, with real music. Do not overlook them as being a silly franchise--this album is of professional quality with a youthful undertone. You'll fall in love with their upbeat voices and meaningful lyrics. They are great role models for kids and teens, and I cannot wait to see where their talent takes them!
