Free Music Notes for Jonas BrothersFree Music Review: Amazing People= Amazing Music Hit: 5 Stars I am sincerely sorry if you have not heard this group of inspiring brothers; you're missing out. For those of you who have rated this badly, or are not fans of Kevin, Joe, and Nick, I'm not telling you that you're wrong to think what you do, because we're entitled to our own opinions, and we all have different interests in music and many other things, but I really can't see how you couldn't at least mildly enjoy them. I've been a fan of the boys for about a year, now, which was really the first time I'd ever heard of them. Since the first time I saw them in their video for "Mandy", I've been in love. Please don't think that I simply mean I've been taken in by their looks; I haven't. I will admit that they are all extremely good-looking, but that's not the only reason I'm such a big fan. These teens really have a true passion for music; they have written every song but 3 that they've ever recorded (all of the 3 non-originals being remixed by them, though), and they really care about being good rolemodels for all fans. They are Christian, their father's a preacher, and both parents are/were missionaries. These boys also made the decision to all wear purity rings even way before they had ever thought about being a band. They also are very sweet people, and would really do anything for fans; they definitely haven't become taken in by stardom, and I know they never will. They aren't like that. Many people who have come before them may have made promises that have since been broken, but they definitely won't be 3 of them.
Okay, and of COURSE, all three have amazing musical abilities. Even though Joe is usually listed as the 'lead singer', with Nick and Kevin as 'backup vocalists', I beg to differ: All three put an amazing amount of effort and success into their music, and not one of them is more important than the next. (Actually, it seems more as if Nick and Joe share the role of 'lead singer', with Kevin as 'backup vocals & lead guitar', which still doesn't make Kevin ANY less important or talented.)
And don't worry-- there is never any language, suggestiveness, or sensuality in these songs; the boys aren't like that.
I know they'll always be amazing, and I'll never give up on them because they'll never give up on themselves.
Free Music Review: The Jonas Brothers are not bad singers. Hit: 4 StarsI know I have slammed the last two groups/singers I reviewed(Hannah Montana and Aly and AJ)but I have to say the Jonas Brothers aren't bad at all. They sound good and seem to be rather entertaining from what I have seen. I usually don't like slow songs but When You Look Me In The Eyes by the Jonas Brothers is actually a good song. I think the Jonas Brothers are a fresh cool group for all ages to enjoy. I think they have great personalites and their whole vibe is neat. If you want proof that the Jonas Brothers are a good band, just watch a video of one of their concerts and check out the screaming fans! The Jonas Brothers songs also give a clear message that is easy to understand unlike Aly and AJ who leave me confused. The Jonas Brothers actually have vocal talent unlike some other kid stars. I would say a Jonas Brothers Album is money well spent!
Free Music Review: Jonas Brothers are all Talent!!! Hit: 5 StarsI purchased this CD as a christmas gift for my son who LOVES the Jonas Brothers music. This is such a cool CD I think I've listened to it more than he has!
Free Music Review: 3-1/2 stars -- All in the family Hit: 3 StarsWhen the Jonas Brothers first emerged in 2006, it seemed like they were trying to be the Hanson of the new millennium -- albeit with electric guitars instead of acoustic guitars. I didn't pick up their first album It's About Time, but I decided to check out their self-titled album.
This is another one of those albums where instead of a few long songs, there are a whole bunch of short songs. But most of them do stand out, like "Hello Beautiful", "Goodnight and Goodbye" and "Hold On". The best song, though, would probably have to be "When You Look Me in the Eyes".
There are also a handful of songs that I can do without, like "Australia", "Still in Love with You" and "That's Just the Way We Roll". The obligatory what's-wrong-with-the-world song "Hollywood" neither helps nor hurts the album, nor does the update to Kim Wilde's "Kids in America", titled "Kids of the Future". Speaking of remakes, "Year 3000" was already on their first album, so why is it HERE?
While Joe, Kevin and Nick probably don't appeal to many people outside of the Radio Disney fanbase, they still have the skills to stick around for a while, so their self-titled album is a good effort.
