Free Music Notes for Jordan KnightFree Music Review: Jordan Knight's debut is truly "A Different Party"!! Hit: 5 Stars
I've waited years for this day and at long last, it's finally here: Jordan Knight, my favorite male vocalist of all time, has released his solo debut. In a word: multi-faceted. This album has everything: R&B, classic rock; uptempo dance songs which keep you in the groove and bittersweet ballads even the most cynical person will be moved by. Every track is expertly written, beautifully sung. A few gems in particular are "Don't Run", "When You're Lonely", "Broken By You". Everyone loves "Give It To You", but "A Different Party" is a funky mosaic like none I've ever heard before. Jordan's cover of "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" gives this song a flavor even Prince would be envious of and more than deserves its title as second single. All in all, fans both old and new will be "Finally Finding Out" why this ex-New Kid took his time: to go his "Separate Ways" from his past and show everyone what Jordan Knight is really all about.
Free Music Review: Perfect Man, Perfect Album Hit: 5 Stars
Ohmigosh! This is honestly the best album I have ever heard. I was rather sceptical about buying it at first, because I had only heard 2 songs off it and wasn't sure if the rest'd be good. But once I started to listen to it, I was hooked. ALL the songs on this album are perfect. Ranging from party music to ballads, the songs are such that you never tire of them! Even if you aren't an NKOTB or JOrdan Knight fan, this album WILL appeal to you. Jordan Knight is the MOST talented artist around. Listening to him sing makes me think he has evloved a lot since the days of NKOTB. Unlike his fellow New Kid Joe McIntyre, his music is mature, and unlike the on-the-surface pop ditties the latter belts out. His ability to sing in so many styles, his mesmerising voice and (i hate to say it in a MUSIC review, but i gotta) his ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING/BEAUTIFUL/DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS face make this album a MUST-BUY! I can't wait for the next one! All the best, JOrdan! JK RULZ.
Free Music Review: Jordan Knight back on top Hit: 5 Stars
I was thrilled when I heard that Jordan was going to release a solo alblum. I didn't know what to expect. I knew that his voice was incredible yet, how would he perform without the 4 other members of New Kids on the Block? I ran to purchase the CD on the day of its release and instantly put it in my CD player..I fell in love, all over again just as I did back in 1987 when I first came in contact with the NKOTB. It was a little sad at first to know that they won't perform together or be a group again yet, they have grown up so much and all seem happy with the path their lives have taken. When I first heard his voice penetrate through my Cd player, I got chills up my spine, I felt like that 13 year old love sick teenager all over again...I loved him as a child and my love for him remains strong as an adult....Jordan- I give you props for creating this remarkable CD. I am so proud of you, Best of luck...

This is an awesome album EVERYONE! All the songs have a unique melodic quality to them, and completely grows on you. It's definitely one of those albums that you play and play again until you finally tire of it, only to pull it out later to rediscover it in a whole new way. It's definitely too bad that there's a lot of stigma attached to Jordan, his music outperforms any other top-selling mainstream pop/R&B album on the charts right now. I think for those open-minded people out there who give this album a try will find that they discovered a jewel; for those who don't, it's their loss. I always knew that one day, long after the disbanding of the group, that Jordan would impress us to no end and even win over the toughest of cynics out there. In fact, I cannot wait for his sophomore album due out later this year, I hope that this talented artist NEVER stops recording!
Free Music Review: Gives the Backstreet Boys and Nsync a run for thier money! Hit: 5 Stars
I am quite suprised at the quality content of this cd. The hit single, Give It To You is a totally festive party tune, but just does'nt do this cd any justice in representing all that it has to offer! The songs are really nicely written and sung with feeling that is moving. Quite frankly I enjoy this cd more than the Backstreet Boys' Millennium and mostly everything by Nsync whose songs are as emotive as cardboard compared to this. Even the two songs that "borrow" from the classic rock hits Green Eyed Lady and Dust In The Wind are pretty good. Some of my favorites are Broken By You, Don't Run and I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man. On the last song, Jordan totally makes this song into his style to the point, I did'nt realize that Prince wrote and originally recorded this song back in 1988. Don't blow this off!
