Free Music Notes for Love SongsFree Music Review: Same Old Song and Dance, Old Songs -- Redone.... Hit: 2 StarsLove Songs
I have been a fan of Jordan Knight since he was with New Kids On the Block. I bailed on the band when they tried to move into the East Coast - West Coast style "gangster" music. Yeah, Jordan got into trouble with his bodyguard with this chage at clubs in his home town. But being a hobbie singer who has covered just about all JK's songs this album is a let down. WHY?
All these songs from a very talented singer and more than 80% of them are REMAKES. Everything from my ultimate singer George Michael with "Carless Whispers" which cannot be topped, along with Billy Jole's "She's Got A Way", The Cars "Drive" and the most insulting "One More Night" by Phil Collins. And this is just the tip of the iceburg.
Not what one would expect after JK's self title solo album. Buy this if you love songs which have already been done before. You are only paying for 4 new original (possible) songs out of them all. ( I do not know alot of older music but who is to say).
Free Music Review: He Followed My Advice! Hit: 5 StarsLove the duet between Jordan and Deborah on "Say Goodbye".
I mentioned to Jordan back in 2002 about doing a duet with her and he followed through with it. great move! great album!
Free Music Review: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Hit: 5 StarsI HAVE TO SAY THAT ALTHOUGH MOST OF THESE ARE COVERS, I PREFER JORDAN SINGING THESE SONGS THAN THE ORIGINAL ARTISTS. HE IS SO VERY TALENTED AND I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL HE RELEASES ANOTHER CD. I GET LOST IN THIS CD EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO IT. I LOVE HIS OWN SONGS ON HERE TOO. THEY ARE AMAZING AND HIS FALSETTO MAKES ME MELT!!! XOXOXO
Free Music Review: You will be blown away Hit: 5 StarsThis album is a relaxing mix of new songs and remakes of classics. Jordan shows his creative side by writing his new songs and proves that remakes don't always suck. It is a must have for any New Kids On The Block fan or anyone looking for a cd to pop on to help them unwind.
Free Music Review: Not Too Bad Hit: 3 StarsI'm not a big fan of romantic songs in general, but I was a huge NKOTB fan back in the day, so I decided to give this a try. I have to say that I was surprised at how good the CD was. Jordan's orginal songs were ok, but the best part of the CD was his covers. His interpretation of the covers on the CD were surprisingly well done. His voice has developed really well, and now he just needs some direction on choice of songs. I would check this out for a romantic evening.
