Jordan Knight has done a wonderful job with this one. I only wish this was better promoted. This is an album to sit back with a bottle of wine with the one you love and just relax. You truly see what a talent he is and how much his voice has matured through out the years.
"Love songs" is a beautiful compilation of original and covered songs. Jordan's voice is smooth and sultry and truly makes the covers his own with out compromising the integrity of the original songs. His originals are amazing, they all have classic potential. My personal favorite is "Have You", who would not want to be proposed with this song in the background. "I love you, more than anyone in the world could love you...I'm a better man than I thought I could ever be. I found out the way to have your cake and eat it to, convincing your heart to let me have you".
Get this album, you wont regret it.
Free Music Review: Blown Away Hit: 5 Stars
Expected this album to be a flashback of my teenage New Kid fan days, but find myself listening to it constantly. The song I Wish is my new favorite. The covers of One More Night, Waiting, And The Cars Drve are all stand outs. He hasn't veered too far from the original versions and managed to put just enough of his own spin on them to take you back, but leave you undecided if you prefer the cover or original. The addition of Little Drummer Boy doesn't make much sense for this album, but it is well done. Careless Whisper is ok, but not the most memorable. The duet with Debbie Gibson was a really nice surprise. They should have worked together back in the day! I would recommend this album not only to Jordan Knight/Blockhead fans, but also to anyone who prefers 80s music or adult contemporary to what you'd find on the radio today. You won't have any buyers remorse with this album.
Free Music Review: Jordan Interprets a Love Song Like No Other Hit: 5 Stars
In a season more than abundent with a varity of artists attempting to offer romantic albums, only one makes you feel like he's ever truly been in love. Jordan has always been gifted with a beautiful and unique voice, but age and experience has taught him what others have forgotten to include that is essential for making an album about love... emotion. When Jordan sings "She's Got a Way", you feel yourself transported next to him as he conversationally explains just what makes his love perfect for him. Song after song, you don't just hear a good voice singing a pretty song, you're wrapped in a moment. The selection of covers has to include at least one of your favorites and each has an updated touch. Of the new material, my favorites are the unique "Have You" and the touching "No More Tears". My only complaint is I wanted more!
Free Music Review: Jordan Knight always gets me!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Whoa!!! One more time Jordan surprises me. This cd is just adorable. The type of cd you listen it all while doing anything in your life. In the car, cleaning the house, making love...
Jordan was known by the New Kids fans for being the best singer of the group. He proves that the adulthood made him better in that cd. Really good vocals, extraordinary melodies and beautiful songs, most of it that we, children from the 80's, know so well. And plus, we have some new songs too. Beautiful songs, I must say. He took my favorites from "The Fix" and put here. He sings new balads too, and one of them has a guest: Deborah Gibson. Good vocals too, well blended with Jordan, proving that we were not totally death in the 80's. We used to have good music people, and I guess Jordan knew that.

Free Music Review: Very solid effort!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
I have to say that this album surprised me. I am very familiar with the original versions of the songs Jordan covered on this album. I was unsure if he would pull them off. I am happy to say that yes he does! On some of these songs, like "Waiting for a girl like you" originally done by Foreigner, he adds his own spin and uses a great falsetto on the chorus. I think the song he does with Deborah Gibson, "Say Goodbye" is a FANTASTIC duet. This song should be a sure fire hit!!! But really what can I say, the covers are good, the new songs are good. The only song that it took a while to grow on me was Jordan's cover of "Careless Whisper" but now I even like that song. He can sing!!! Way to go Jordan and good duet choice!!!!
