Free Music Review: I am so proud that I believed in Jordin all along!!!!

I am speechless!!! This is way more than I expected. There is not one song on the CD that I would want to skip even at first listen. I ordered a couple of CD's from Amazon, still to be received. But I purchased my first copy at Walmart during lunch today. I only had about half hour to listen to it and I wanted to hear all the songs at the same time, but was afraid to miss something if I skipped any of them. so I did not get to listen to all the songs during lunch, but what I heard then was really incredible. I have to admit, when tattoo very first came out, I had to play it a couple of times to get hooked, when now it is one of my favorite songs. ...But at first listen to "No Air" I was hooked!!! at first listen of feeze, shy boy, next to you, just for the record...all of them are great! I listened to the rest of the album on my hour commute home. This CD excellent and is money well spend! I would highly recommend it to anyone! God loves ugly is sooooo pretty and cute, the voice of an angel. And I don't care what anyone else says, but This is My Now still is fantastic.Free Music Review: Congrats to Jordin! Job Well Done!

I have to admit that I really didn't enjoy Season 6 of American Idol - In fact, I stopped watching after they got down to the top 8 or something like that. No one really sparked my interest or appealed to me much at all. I didn't even watch the finale, because I didn't care who won. Now, after this year's finale, I decided to listen to Jordin Spark's cd release as I saw it at the library and was in an "Idol" mood. I gave it a try and listened to all of the songs straight through without skipping a single one and even repeated a few here and there. I must say that Jordin really impressed me with her very strong and beautiful voice - for a 17 yr. old she is quite amazing!!
Jordin Sparks' cd is very catchy and perfect for a long car ride or an hour or 2 of cleaning around the house or even working out. Just pop it into your cd player wherever you are and you just might find yourself whisked away into Sparks' world for a little while which is quite a treat. Enjoy this remarkable debut from a talented young woman...

Okay the first time I listened to it I did not like the cd but I gave it another chance and I love it. The mistake the producers of this cd made was that the songs do not grab you. You cannot seriously produce an album and expect fans to love it when nothing stands out on the first listen. Why make it so hard on this artist first effort it's just dumb. Good thing the kid is so likable that you want to find the good in this cd and that made me give it a second chance I am glad I did.
Again the producers song choices makes this cd a hard sell for many and it's not fair to Jordin. The end result are a ton of mixed reviews from many that listened once and think the cd is crap. You have to be willing in this case to listen again and remember this material was written for an 18 year old. Give Jordin a break and another listen I think you will find yourself enjoying this cd.

It took a while for me to open this c.d. Finally, after popping it into my car and listening to the whole c.d. I was amazed!!! You can truly hear the talent of Jordin. The songs vary from straight pop to r&b and a little country. I thought it was a wide range c.d. that hits all listeners. I love it and haven't been able to stop listening to it. I feel that some of the songs have an 80's/90's feel to it which was refreshing to this 28 year old. Just put it this way, if this c.d. was to get scratched I would buy another one. Way to go Jordin!!! Hopefully, on her next c.d. she will sing some old school songs like on American Idol! I would love her to remake some classics since she is a true talent!!! Buy the c.d. people...this c.d. is refreshing and so better that Alicia Keyes' c.d.Free Music Review: Give it a chance

Like many others, when I first played the cd in my car, I thought " all the songs sound alike", but then thought I'd give it another listen to, since I have to spend my commute time doing something! So I listened to it again, then again, and I gotta tell you, some songs have similar tempos and are a little bit "girl band" sounding, but she sings them beautifully, and I love the personal edge she gives to each song. My favorite is still "This is My Time" but "Tattoo" and "One Step at a Time" are great too. I've now probably listened to it 10 times, in the car, and love it! So, to all you guys and gals out there who don't like it, just give it a few more listens to and see if your opinion changes.
