A Bailar! Let's Dance! is my absolute favorite CD for kids to date. As a bilingual storyteller I have struggled to find Spanish music to entertain children between puppet skits and stories. I especially love the many many songs that can get kids up and moving. My favorite's are: Baila, Baila, Baila, Los Deditos, Bailando con las Manos, and Los Ninos Cuando Bailan. Jorge's wonderful guitar playing and clear silky voice make this CD a must have for children's librarians. My storytelling audience (English & Spanish speakers) constantly ask for the CD and love moving to the beat. Both of the Spanish immersion videos from Whistlefritz -- Los Animales and Vamos a Jugar -- were big hits with my two kids (ages 4 and 6). So I bought a copy of this Spanish song collection right after it was released. My kids love listening to the CD at home and in the car. They have picked up a ton of Spanish from the eclectic mix of songs, which includes songs about parts of the body, directions, animals, colors, etc. The songs are catchy and sometimes after dropping my kids off at school I find I'm still listening to the music without realizing it. Our 15-month-old loves this CD! We listen to it several times a day at her request. It begins first thing in the morning when she says, "Miskit, pease!" (Music, please!), and continues throughout the day. We are going to have to buy another copy for the babysitter's house because she is so distraught when she asks for it on a day when we've forgotten it at home. I have also really enjoyed listening to the CD and have found myself dancing and singing along, which hasn't happened with any of the other children's CDs that we have. This is a GREAT cd for kids. I highly recommend it. The songs are very interesting and help you learn a variety of words. There is even a song to help you distinguish between and practice saying the two different "r" sounds in Spanish. I have a few other Spanish song CDs and they are not nearly as good as this one. It also comes with an insert that has the words to the songs in Spanish and the translations in English.Free Music Review: Great Children's Dance Music

We just received a copy of the CD last week and my kids love it!! I have a six and a four year old and they are singing along already. The CD contains a mixture of both new and classic songs like `Hora de Limpiar' and `Los Pollitos' which my children were familiar with so it allows them to sing along. The singer's voice is soothing to both the children and the parent's ear, which made it a plus. I highly recommend the CD.
