The classic story of Joseph and his multicolored coat in musical form! This is a good album if you wanna hear pretty voices singing, but if you want energy and passion, I suggest finding a different version of this musical's soundtrack like the Canadian version.

OK now i believe this IS one of webbers best musicals... But i do have to say i am not very pleased With this particular recording ..Having performed this show with the Broadway Touring company with Brian Lane Green i Believe his performance has FAR outdone Michael Damian's But if you are forced to buy this recording i say It is A MUST SEE SHOW!! The energy is INCREDIBLE and you can Never get sick of the music simply because of the variety!!!!!Free Music Review: Not at par with the Osmond or Donovan recordings, but okay.

There is not much difference in this Los Angeles cast recording compared to other "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" CDs, except for the vocal characterization of Joseph played by Michael Damian in this recording. Damian gives a little lackluster of a performance vis-a-vis the Joseph of Donnie Osmond or Jason Donovan. But this recording is a worthy addition to your collection.Free Music Review: Joseph

By far the best recording I've heard and definitely the best vocal - and I've seen this musical more than I'd care to admit!
