Free Music Review: Josh Gracin's Debut Album Is Great!

First off, let me say I love Josh and his music. He's such a great guy! Now..as to the CD..I gave it 5 stars..since I bought this album the day it was released, I have listened to it non-stop. Josh should have been the "American Idol"..he'll prove that soon enough.
I have listed some of my favorite songs from the album, and why I think they are so special.
Track One: I Want To Live
I first heard this song on the local country station at about 3:00 in the morning, I dropped everything I was doing. I sat there in awe of the song, and the man behind it. I had seen Josh on "Idol" but I didn't watch it much during Season 2..maybe once or twice. (Country night especially). I think it's quite ironic that the song he picked to sing that night was by Garth Brooks..because I think Josh sounds like Garth every now and then.
Track Four: Brass Bed
Doesn't the name just give you chills? "Brass Bed"! This is such a great song, Josh did a wonderful job covering it. The lyrics are so...chilling...there really is no other word to describe it. Listen to it and you'll know what I mean!
Track Eight: I Would Look Good With You
This song is funny, I love the part where he says "I'm a little too short. You're a hair too tall. I can buy a stepladder ain't no trouble at all." I think that's my favorite line out of the whole song. The entire song is great though, take my word for it!
Track Eleven: The Other Little Soldier
My favorite song off the entire CD. I cried the first time I heard it. Josh does such a wonderful job singing it, makes me feel so close to the family in the song. Especially the young child who is left father-less in the end. I think it is fitting that Josh Gracin, a Marine, sings this song. I can only imagine how Josh feels everytime he has to leave his wife and little girl to do his "job".
In conclusion, you HAVE to buy this CD! It's so great! I love it and I know you will too! I persuaded a friend of mine to buy it, she fell in love with Josh too..she then in turn told a friend..who told a friend..who told a friend..and so on. Soon...the whole country will have a copy of Josh Gracin's debut CD in stores now! So go buy a copy and support a Josh, he deserves it more than anyone!
