Josh Turner's third album EVERYTHING IS FINE is excellent music. The traditional country sound is well crafted and his voice is amazing. He utilizes his amazing bass-baritone in many instances with talent and skill. I believe it is the best Country release of 2007. He blends superior writing of his own and others with his rich voice.
This album has twelve tracks, and every track is of the finest quality music. The highlights on this album include:
"Everything Is Fine" is a song that capitalizes on his deep voice to deliver a well crafted tune about the good things in life.
"Firecracker," the debut single, has all the makings of a radio hit and Josh uses a falsetto that astonished me.
"Nowhere Fast," a duet with Anthony Hamilton of R&B fame, is a great song. The vocal chemistry between the two is captivating.
"The Longer The Waiting (The Sweeter the Kiss)" is the best song on the record. It blends traditional Celtic music with Country & Western. It is emotionally powerful, and evokes many emotions. Indeed, I would recommend purchasing the CD solely based on the merits of this song.
Overall *****/***** for all the songs being great, and the wide array of styles and melodies. This record exemplifies his superb talent as a singer-songwriter. See him in concert if you can; the performance was a very special experience and he entertains. This CD is the definitive Country album of 2007. This record is simply amazing.

Josh Turner comes back with his fourth album keeping the tradition in country music. From the beginning to the end, the album shows the levels of success this newest member of the Grand Ole Opry can achieve. Turner's vocals shine with "The Longer the Waiting" and the first hit single off the album, "Firecracker." Trisha Yearwood fills in as a guest spot on "Another Try" to blend beautifully with Josh Turner's vocals. The surprise on the album and probably one of the strongest tracks is the song written and sang along with, Anthony Hamilton's "Nowhere Fast."
Overall this album is well worth purchasing for the country music fan who loves to hear the traditional sounds of country music.
