It isn't often that I am delighted with a CD. Juan Luis Guerra y 440 are amazing together. Perfect is the only way to describe this CD. These songs are not just fillers to take up space. Every one of them is well thought out and crafted. Juan Luis Guerra is a composer who performs - not just a song writer. The melodies and harmonies are wonderful. He and 440 must be obsessed with perfection because it shows in this CD. And it seems that they are having a great time performing.
All the tunes are catchy and even though I only speak a little Spanish, I still get enough to understand that he has a turn of phrase and a sense of humor.
I recommend this CD to anyone, and you don't need to know Spanish. It is upbeat and makes you want to dance, dance, dance, dance!
