Free Music Review: Another Solid Album From Juanes
Hit: 4 Stars

After listening to this album a couple of times I would say that it is a very solid album. That is why I gave it 4 stars. My only problem is that it sounds so much like Fijate Bien in terms of style of songs that it isn't very original. I think that Un Dia Normal was stronger from beginning to end and I, unlike many others really like Mi Sangre. I am not a native Spanish speaker and Mi Sangre had 3-4 songs that were just so catchy. I think that this album lacks a little top end hit appeal but most songs are very good. I am not the kind of person that normally listens to every song in the album every time I listen to it. Un Dia Normal came as close to me wanting to listen to every song as I have ever been with an album and Mi Sangre had multiple songs that I could not get tired of (Ok La Camisa Negra after about 400 times might get a little old.) I just think that Juanes is at that point in his career where we know what Juanes can do. He is one of the best rockers of all times regardless of language. He is still just human and I just feel like we'll never be pleasantly surprised again because we've seen all of what he has to offer. Fijate Bien was one of the most solid solo debut albums of all times. Un Dia Normal was an artful masterpiece and Mi Sangre took certain songs to new levels in terms of mass appeal (Not saying that Adios Le Pido wasn't a mass appeal hit but it was the only song from that album that I could just hear 5 times in a row and love it and Mi Sangre had 3 songs that I thought were some of my favorite of all time (La Camisa Negra, Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor and Volverte a Ver.)) I just feel that La Vida Es un Ratico just keeps up with the Juanes Status quo. Solid but it didn't take me to any new level of appreciation for his music.

Free Music Review: Nice Album... but same old sound
Hit: 4 Stars

I love Juanes... he's so talented. His lyrics and sounds are always good but this album has the same sound of all the old albums but with new lyrics. I don't mind listening the sounds all over again, but I wish he tested a different road. He's recycling sounds (it's always good to recycle) but it sounds like a continuation of the old stuff. My favorties songs are: No Creo En El Jamas, Clase De Amor, Me Enamora, La Vida es Un Raito (MY FAVORITE ONE). BTW... the picture and his new short hair look are an A+.

Free Music Review: Me enamora
Hit: 4 Stars

Me parece uno de los mejores CDs de Juanes. Mucho ritmo colombianisimo y me encanta la variedad de ritmos y arreglos musicales que integra en este CD.

Free Music Review: Nice melodies and lyrics with sense
Hit: 4 Stars

Songs are poetic and at the same time loaded with messages of peace, justice and love.
Music form Juanes is always a guarantee.

Free Music Review: Me enamora!

I had to get this CD as soon as I could and am so glad I did! My favorite is "Me enamora."
