Free Music Notes for Nostradamus (Deluxe Edition)Free Music Review: This is not for "cookie monster" vocal fanatics. This is REAL METAL! Hit: 5 Stars
The Metal gods have returned and delivered! Granted the stick-up-the-b*tt "metal elitists" (The kind who think Deep Purple and Black Sabbath aren't metal) will call this non-metal because you can't thrash around to every song, Rob is actually singing, and you can actually hear what he's saying instead of Arght blghth blpthtth blith tlrth blrth blyth tlapth. Bang your heads, with true metal heads, and give these elitist noobs the middle finger they deserve!
Free Music Review: On repeat in my player Hit: 5 Stars
After listening to this recording a dozen or more times, I'm beginning to think it may be one of the best Priest albums ever. The songs Revelations, Alone, and Visions are very powerful. Powerful as in I've woken up with them in my head and during the day I'll find myself unconsciously humming the melodies. I'm pleased with the discs and glad to see the guys experimenting and doing what they want. That's right at the heart of metal, IMO.
Free Music Review: An Epic (Fantasy Style) Metal Masterpiece Hit: 5 Stars
Judas Priest has really outdone themselves with this two disc epic. I'm reminded of epic tales of old and the haunting melodies of soundtracks like "Labryinth" or even "The Princess Bride." This isn't the metal of "AC/DC" or "Black Sabbath." Instead, this is a much slower paced more thoughtful metal in the vein of "Symphony X" "Dream Theater" and 'David Bowie."
I highly recommend this album.
Free Music Review: "THE BEST JUDAS PRIEST ALBUM" Hit: 5 Stars
This is the best performer by Rob Halford, is just amazing, this is not a screaming for vengance, this is not a british steel, painkiller etc.. this is a NOSTRADAMUS a very new sound for heavy metal fans especial for this time that we are living, if you love diferent kind of music like rock, sinphonic, clasic and real heavy metal you will love this masterpice.
Free Music Review: Great Effort! Hit: 5 Stars
The Deluxe version of the album is great and the band sounds as good as ever.
I was surprised however, missing from the Deluxe Edition is a group photo. It would have been nice to include the band photo in the Deluxe album, as they did in the audio CD none Deluxe version. Still, a very nice concept album from Judas Priest.
