Free Music Notes for Judds Reunion: LiveFree Music Review: Millenium Reunion Hit: 5 Stars
This was truly something fans of the Judds were waiting for. Ever since The Judds broke up in 1991, Naomi battling cancer, fans have been hoping for a reunion. Here it is! This is a live, 2 CD set recording, of their New Years Eve concert, bringing us into the year 2000. Miracles do happen this proves! Naomi successfully beat cancer, and it is evident that the magic of the Judds is still alive today. The energy between Naomi and her daughter Wynonna is like lightning! The concert begins with daugher Ashley Judd introducing Naomi & Wy to the crowd. Then its a powerful rendition of their heartfelt hit single "Love Can Build A Bridge". Fans will no doubt be impressed, as they sing major Judds hits such as "Girls Night Out", "River Of Time", "Mama He's Crazy", even their first single "Had A Dream ( For The Heart)"! As well this concert celebrates Wynonna's successful transition from Judds member to solo artist. Wynonna is truly a class act, she has always marched to the beat of her own drum and done country with her own flair and personality. Highlights among her hits include "She Is His Only Need", "I Saw The Light", "My Strongest Weakness", and more. She also debuts a new single from her NEW DAY DAWNING album "Can't Nobody Love You (Like I Do)", as well as another song which appeared on the album titled "Tuff Enuff". Perhaps one of the most heartfelt performances is "Come Some Rainy Day", a song Wynonna tearfully and emotionally dedicates to her sister Ashley. Overall this is a must have collection for fans of the Judds, whether or not you were there to seem them on the reunion tour, or even if you were, this will provide memories for years to come of what was one of the most successful female country duos of our time.
Free Music Review: Incredible & Inspiring! Hit: 5 Stars
In the younger Judd days, Wynonna was kind of the "Silent' partner with the great voice, and the focus tended to be on Naomi. (Even though, the movie portrayal of Wynonna as a little girl depicted a sarcastic, hilarious little hellion). Now that she's all grown up, Wynonna has come into her own and developed an "intrigue" and "fascination" as incredible as Naomi's, and her voice (always wonderful) has strengthened and become even more powerful. This was the "concert" you never wanted to end. They sang all their best songs, and it's as if they reach out and send love and compassion and hope through their music and through their lives. I am fighting a terminal illness, and I have learned one important thing from the Judds. I remember in the movie when the Judds were starting out and getting rejected by everyone, and they were discouraged, Wynonna said to her mother, "What are the chances of our making it anyway--about a billion to one?" Naomi answered her and said, "Then, we'll be that one!" I never forgot it. When a doctor told me my chances were about a million to one, I remembered Naomi and said, "Then I'll be that one!" These two women have given us all so much in so many ways. I read somewhere that Naomi struggles because she wants to "save" everybody, and she can't. Maybe not, but she can certainly give people the "Hope" and the "Faith" in God to save themselves, and she has done that. God bless these two wonderful women!

Free Music Review: If you weren't there live, this is the next best thing! Hit: 5 Stars
It all started back in 1983, country music was going through a revival and The Judds were at the forefront of that transition. They brought a certain glamour to country music with their sparkles and smiles. Not since Elvis had a genre of music been so captivated with an artist. The Judds created their glorious sound until December 8, 1991 when they performed their Farewell Concert. Wynonna soldiered on and became a SUPERSTAR. But Naomi sat back and concentrated on other things, her health, her writing and her motivational speaking tour. But that all changed on December 31, 1999 when The Judds came back together and performed for the first time in 8 years. This two-disc set showcases Judd classics, Wynonna-alona solo classics and new tunes from Miss Wy. With The Judds you get what you see, you get the humor, the spark, the harmony. But more importantly you feel like you are in the Judds living room, or their backyard. The CD is "live" and you won't miss Wynonna's giggle, Naomi's banter...you see their fun, you see their honesty. This is actually their second "live cd" with the first showcasing their 1985 tour. They sounded great back then, but 1999 shows their maturity and Wynonna has never sounded better, whether as a partner or alona-Wynonna. This girl can rock. This CD is for those who wanted to be there that night and couldn't. This is what you missed, but you can fix that with the purchase of this "must" country album.

The Judds ended their reign as one of the top vocal groups in country music in their final concert in December 1991, when Naomi was very ill, a fatal disease. She spended time writing books and doing motivational speaking, while Wynonna went on to become a very successful solo artist. For the New Years Eve concert, the last of the millenium, and entering a new one, The Judds reunited one last time for a final tour. Here it is for all the fans to enjoy!Singing their signature hits like "Mama He's Crazy", "Girls Night Out", "Grandpa (Tell Me About The Old Days", "Why Not Me", "Love Can Build A Bridge", "Love Is Alive" and many many more, as well as some of Wy's solo hits like "I Saw The Light", "She Is His Only Need", "My Strongest Weakness", "The Wyld Unknown", as well as some new songs from her album NEW DAY DAWNING like "Can't Nobody Love You Like I Do", "Tuff Enough" and her hit "Come Some Rainy Day" This is the perfect collection of songs old and new for fans of the Judds. It is excellent and there is so much talent. Ashley Judd introduces them. This is a must have for any fan who loves the Judds and wants to recapture that magic that lived on throughout the 80's and early 90's. Its wonderful to hear from these talented singers again!
