Free Music Notes for Jump in

Free Music Review: Fun for listening, especially for dancing or aerobics, full of exuberance
Hit: 5 Stars

The success of the Disney Channel stars, programs and tie-in products (especially the music) is nothing short of phenomenal. The latest is Jump In!, a drama with songs (rather than a sing-out-loud musical) in which a young athlete would rather compete in extreme jump championships than fulfill his father's boxing ring dreams.

The big draw of Jump In! is the promising young Corbin Bleu, who like his High School Musical cast mates, is following a carefully plotted career course in the hopes of rising through the ranks of all-around stardom.

The album literally opens with the sound of a jump rope that starts at an average pace but quickly accelerating to create the rhythm track of N.L.T.'s "It's On."

Bleu's breakout track, "Push It to the Limit," is perfectly in keeping with what constitutes a power hit with Radio Disney listeners. (It's also tailor-made for an aerobic workout or 5k run.

Bleu's costar, Keke Palmer (who comes highly recommended from the fine film, Akeelah and the Bee) offers both "It's My Turn Now" and Jumpin'. The remainder is comprised of hip-hop, rap and pop songs including one from High School Musical vocalist Drew Seeley, who contributes "I'm Ready."

Primarily expressing either "I'm gonna make it to the top" or "get on the dance floor and move," the melodies and rhythms are consistently upbeat, except for Sebastian Mega's ballad of preteen angst, "Where Do I Go From Here?" and Kyle's exceptional "Let It Go," a self-help lesson in overcoming life's trials.

As of this writing, Jump In! became the most-watched Disney Channel movie in history, surpassing even High School Musical.

Free Music Review: Jump in...
Hit: 5 Stars

I'll put it simply. This is the one disc I would let anyone with (younger) teenagers listen to without the fear of hearing any of the following:

1. Drugs
2. Foul Language
3. Sex

Bouncy tunes, a decent message and good clean fun (IMHO)! For once, give the people at Disney their just due. This is a great (family-oriented) disc that almost everyone would enjoy. Five stars!!

I got to tell you the truth. Im a mother in her 30's. And my daughter wanted this. I bought it for her and LOVE it. Wonderful songs, nice lyrics and up-beat music. Im no music critic. But if your a parent, I approve of this c.d. So many things from Disney I don't approve of. I loved the movie too.

Free Music Review: Kids love it!
Hit: 5 Stars

My 4 year old daughter just loves this CD and I must say, the songs are really good for this teenage group. The songs are inspirational to kids and I am so happy they have positive lyrics. Great purchase!
