Just when Rap was becoming stale, Jurassic 5 released their first full length-album. Fresh on the heels of their selftitled EP, "Quality Control" delivers the multi-voiced stylings of the 6 man L.A. hip hop crew. The lyrics are clever and flow perfectly with Cut Chemist and Nu Mark's tracks. Chali 2na is the outstanding performer here, putting on a rhyme delivering clinic. Quality Control has wide appeal combining underground hip hop elements with the more commercial stylings. This is an excellent rap album that is a must have for casual or hard core fans.Free Music Review: you must buy this album

wow. this cd single handedly got me into hip hop. there is only one soft track (contribution), but the rest of it is just classic. they harmonize better than any other group except maybe the beastie boys. there are so many great tracks on this cd that even the weaker ones crush [what]you hear on the radio. some of the best are probably quality control, jurass finish first, and improvise. really, this is one of those rare cds you can listen all the way through without skipping a track, although after a few listens you'll be tempted to skip contribution. this is a great party cd- fun, great sounding lyrics over light, creative beats and samples....buy this album. it is definitely worth the money.

Great beats, great lyrics, nice mix of songs. If you're more lyric conscious, try anything by Blackalicious as well. I love the beats of Jurassic 5 - Cut Chemist and Nu-Mark are two of my favorite DJs.Free Music Review: Great Beats

Unlike a lot of the rap songs out there, J5 has brilliant beats and lyrics. When they rap, there lyrics actually have meaning, and their beats are ingenious. If you dont like rap, then you havent heard the sounds of J5.
