Free Music Notes for My World

Free Music Review: Nice
Hit: 4 Stars

Justin is a cutie pie. I bought this cd for my daughter and we are enjoying it a lot. His music reminds me of Jesse McCartney's. This young man could sing. It makes me wish I was a teenager again. Oh well, it is nice to dream.

Free Music Review: Good debut
Hit: 4 Stars

I find that this is a good debut. I'm proud of this teen-age Canadian talent. He has talent and charisma. Thumbs up!

Free Music Review: Why all the Bad reviews?
Hit: 3 Stars

Seriously this is with out a doubt one of if not the best coasters I have ever used. It holds up great, and it doesn't stick to your glass whenever you pick up your cup for a quenching swig. Yeah it looks a little decieving with the girl on the front cover (what kind of girl name is justin anyways?) and from appearances it looks like music. One pop into the CD player destroyed that theory. Won't be doing that again *Shudders*. But I highly recommend this for coaster usage, even better then the Nellyville Coaster. (And that's saying something) So why the Hate?

I can write a review for this because it went to my Granddaughter who loves it...

Free Music Review: Is It Really Worth All the Hype?
Hit: 2 Stars

Since everyone is crazy about Justin Bieber, I decided to check him out. After listening to the songs, I can definitely say that it is not worth all the hype...

First of all, I want to comment on Justin's voice. While it's not absolutely terrible, it's not great either. It's just an average, mediocre voice. I hate to say it, but it's nothing special here. He already doesn't have a lot of range and the high tone of his voice sort of covers up that, but once his voice changes to a deeper tone, I predict that you are going to really tell that he's having trouble hitting notes. I sort of think that's what happened to Nick Jonas, but that's another story... Also, I think it's a mistake to make a CD that young. Justin's voice still hasn't developed and I think that sounds a bit odd. It would have been much better to wait a few years.

All right, on to the CD. My problem with this CD is that the songs sound the same. There's nothing that creative here. Just a bunch of songs all with a back beat and lot of effects. That's another thing that bothers me - too many effects. It was actually hard to tell if Justin had a good voice or not because there are so many effects and hints of auto-tune. Now I know auto-tune isn't new, but I still find it annoying when the producers put that in.

Another thing - I'm not really sure what age range this CD is aimed at. It seems to be aimed at the around-age-ten crowd, but the lyrics are more mature, and (I know I'll get slammed for this) slightly inappropriate at times for that young of a crowd. And I can't help but say to myself, "Justin is only fifteen. This love theme is getting a bit boring."

Overall, this CD wasn't that great. I don't understand why everyone is crazy about a CD with weak vocals, over-produced effects, and songs lacking creativity. Do we really rate a CD on "another pretty face"?

Final score for the album:

Originality: 2/5
Vocals: 2/5
Catchiness: 3/5
Overall: 2/5

I really hope this review was helpful!
